A Brazilian federal court ordered the auction of a 1.1$ million bitcoin stockpile. Mercado Bitcoin the country's largest regulated exchange facilitated the sale. The bitcoin sold by Tradergroup a company that was reportedly functioning as a Ponzi scheme while posing as a cryptocurrency investment organisation was seized by the Federal Police. This is the first time in Brazil that a court order has prompted a bitcoin sale from seized assets.

I wonder why people will still be falling for ponzi scheme. Well I hope the auction amount benefits people that are really needed it not just the elites that took the decision of auctioning them

That's good and it will add a boost in the economy of the country and it will actually make sure that things are always going straight and great ..

You should have also stated the reason why they have other the selling of the bitcoins they have collected , in most cases they should have allowed the organisation to pay certain amount to the government for disobeying and operating a Ponzi scheme and all their asset returned

I think the value would have grown considering the fact that the price of Bitcoin was rising then ,I think I have heard of similar issues like that ,and the government benefited because of the huge movement in price which added more gains

With the court of Brazil did is a reasonable choice, their is no how they'll leave such recovered assets in the hands of police without making the most of out the coin. Because, the value changes who knows it might even fell down drastically low now as the coin isn't moving up either.

This is done in a good direction. I think it will reduce the rate at which some organization will just be sprunning up just to scam innocent citizens. I only wish those that have fallen the victims of this ponzi scheme are duly compensated.
