If you're into tech, you'd probably know that blogs aren't actually dead as the rumours say, many big tech channels such as 'Linus Tech Tips' are using blogs as one of their sources to bring people tech news to let them stay notified, one of those blogs are :
anandtech.com

that was an example, there are still hundres and thousands of them that are still active and being visited by a lot of people including games blogs and much more .

Absolutely correct, infact not only tech blogs but overall blogging is still a lucrative online business only that nowadays the competition is very very high.

I agree that blogs are not dead but there are few successful bloggers that are still earning and sustaining it,most people that rushed into failed so the niche is not trending more as supposed.

Yeah, I'd like to think there's still life in blogging yet. I've had my blog now for three years and just before COVID-19 hit, I was on the verge of looking for investors to try and monetise it because we've already spent a lot of money on it but have yet to earn a penny. The ambitious ideas we have for it will require very deep pockets so I pray to God that someone will see its potential and be willing to help.

I hope it gets more success in the future, did you try proposing that on some people around BMF ? they might accept your offer if you search for it, just be convincive enough

Who said blogs are dead in the first place lol. Social media may became a recent focus in the world of online money making, but that doesn't mean the old school ways of making your own site/blog is dead.

unfortunately, social media took that role instead and joined the competition, that's why the number of the visitors reduced, that's why

Maybe, but independent sites are still the backbone for many successful online workers all around the world. Owning your own site is like owning your own store, while relying on social media is like selling your stuff in other people's store. You have more control if you own your own store, what we need to do is to find a way to drive traffic to our store.

A website and a blog is two different things, blogging is a thing, and owning a website where you are making sells is a whole other thing

Most marketers I know no longer see any differences between blogs and websites. Language also evolving along advancement of technologies.

The pandemic shouldn't have stopped but more time to build the blog and get it monetize as soon as possible so you start earning. No matter the dream you have for it start somewhere.

the problem of those last years that's the trash of blogs and copier/paste.
their goal is only to make money but I can't see a really good quality of their blogs except some genius worker

People who think it is easy to make money from blogging are the ones frustrated and embark on copy and paste blog. Passionate and professional blogger are patient and good earners.

They are indeed hard, because you can't browse them like in a list like youtube videos

Most people online looking for ways to earn are lazy and aren't determine. It is not so easy to make money online, sacrifice must be made to get it right. Some people going into blogging and expect to make money that week or month immediately , the moment it is not coming they park off. Monetizing blogg is not cheap.

You don't need to spend any money to monetize your blog, just hard work to make good content. [

If your blog is new, Google will put it in sandbox for 6 months, and you have to survive that period. After that your blog will start ranking on Google.

Yeah, that's what I mean, last week I read a lot of bad quality blogs and I was so angry from what happened and the big problem you see a lot of views and likes to this blog.

Very like the headlines were eye catching so lots of people will view may get disappointed, such blogs don't get unique visitors that will always come back.

Bloggers are the real deal and the only ones who tends to give breaking news with consistency over the years, but u think nowadays only people with great connect tends to get traffic and that's where the problem lies, bloggers needs more encouragement

By cheap I didn't mean money to be spent but commitment and the time to get right contents in place for a one time AdSense approval not an easy task.
