Canadian crypto exchange Bitvo Crypto released a new stablecoin called QCAD that is fully dependent on Canadian dollar. It is built on the Ehereum blockchain which is in the ERC-20 structure. Canadians can start trading QCAD right away...

Good one for the Canadians. I hope they will get to see or read this so that those interested can key in and make the most of it. I hope trading it will be of benefit to the traders

Does this new coin follow the operations of cryptocurrency or that of CBDC ,as it is with China ? . I think they will benefit from this coin in New future

Cool development for the Canadians. Since it is a stable coin, I guess it would be easier to deal with and to use as mode of payments for transactions.
On the contrary I dont see any benefit in it considering the fact that it is a stable coin . The difference between it and their Fiat currency is the fact that it is stable .

I doubt it would stand the test of time it it really lacks any benefits to the Canadians involved. If it is not their digitalized fiat, then the creators must have some other reasons for it.

Even as their digitized Fiat currency . It is equivalent to having a paper currency because it is not volatile, and won't offer any merit in buying it.

This was a good move for the Canadians. At least their country based crypto exchange has partnered with their law and finally made their own digital currency tradable. Very soon l'm sure a lot of countries will continue that development.

This is a very good innovation and i hope is been listed on multiple exchage sites for people to trade with i think , and for now its going to generate awareness

Never heard of this coin before.. well i guess it's because it's a stable coin i have no use for. All im using is USDC not even much familiar with other stable coin

It is actually a new coin ,which to be is likely to be a CBDC ,and as such will only be for Canadians . It won't be listed in exchanges as well.

I guess we can expect to see more stablecoins in the near future as stablecoins are really on the rise lately too, though along with tons of altcoins

Oh... I guess that's what a lot of countries will be doing.. making a Cryptocurrency counterparts of their local currencies. Stable and private

The question then is , what's the point in doing so since it will operate in the same pattern like the paper Fiat currency. I think there should be more to it
