The crypto currency exchange Bitfinex will remove 8 altcoins from the list on January 14th. These;
Aion Network (AION)
Auctus (AUC)
CommerceBlock (CBT)
Gemini Dollar (GUSD)
Ether Kingdoms (IMP)
Project PAI (PAI)
iExec (RLC)
Time New Bank (TNB)

Really? Are there reasons mentioned for this? And why those particular eight coins? People who trade in those coins will have to find other platforms.

It is good they remove the coins. There are too many coin out there just causing pollution to the good coins. If other exchanger can copy what they did it will be good

Probably these coins are the least traded coins and do not measure up to the minimum requirements needed for them to remain on the exchange. Traders who trade any of these coins might not be happy with the decision.

Many coins out there are just shit coins launched for the purpose of making some money without any follow up to see to their progress. I guess these ones mentioned may be in that category.

Yeah definitely, lots of coins are there which are pretty dead now and the exchanger or trading platforms supporting those coins will affect the reputation of that website.

If there is not enough trade on the exchange in certain coins they will be delisted. If you look at some coins on exchanges, use coinmarketcap, you will see some have no trade in last 24 hours. What is point of exchange listing such coins?

Yeah that's right but I have not heard any cryptocurrency closing or delisted till now, maybe I am lacking information but in case of delisting on trading websites, that is different.
