Hi, does anyone know of any bitcoin wallet with low transaction fees? Or are there any alternative cryptocurrencies you can recommend? Thank you!

Maybe you can try Coinomi. I heard Xapo has high transaction fees, as well as Coinbase. If you are from Philippines, coins.ph works with no transaction fees when transferring money to your bank.

WCX is promising that it will provide 10x lower transaction fees than other wallets. But its in pre ICO stage so you gonna have to wait till October 1 to use their services

I suggest you to use only well known wallets. Almost everywhere the fees are the same. Any new wallets that say they will have 10x lower fees can be easily scam. It is impossible for them to pay all the fees because the fees increased in last time( thats also why coinbase dont pay anymore the fees for users). So be careful and dont use new wallets . Instead of losing a couple hundreds dollars beeing scammed why not paying 4-5$ extra fee? Much safer

What about blockchain fees? I thought they are the lowest.. am I wrong or am I right ? I plan to make a coinbase wallet as well... how are the fees there? Are they similar to Xapo? Xapo has really high fees..
Coinbase is not that bad. Find out the best "hour of day" to make transfers. Avoid China´s rush hour. Block.io with very high bitcoin wallet fees, but litecoin wallet and doge wallet are very low.

Thank you for the reply buddy. I will give it a try. I have to redeem some satoshi and the wallets that the service support are Coinbase and Xapo . I don't want to go with Xapo cuz of high transaction fees, so I'm just gonna go with Coinbase.

your suggestion is the best for this thread my friend so I would like to go with your answer and thanks for letting us know more about it. direct transfer to bank is really cool.

If you are sending from one wallet to another ,for example from Xapo account to another Xapo account there are no fees at all or very low fees...

I am currently using Coinomi for altcoins. It also offers Bitcoin, but I l spared Bitcoin for coins.ph. While I am saving Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, and Litecoin for Coinomi.
Is their any charge if I send Bitcoin from coins.ph to Coinomi?

It's a fact that virtually all the wallet charges high transaction fee. This high fee are only for BITCOIN transactions. Altcoin has lower transaction fee. So make your calculations well before making any transaction.

This is currently not well known but the main reason that Bitcoin transaction fees are high is not usually because of the wallet you are using but rather due to the number of OUTPUTS you have. OUTPUTS are the number of addresses you have where the Bitcoin you wish to transfer obtains it from.

For example:
Let's say you have a wallet with an address that has 1 Bitcoin. There is only 1 address that has bitcoin in that wallet and if you wish to transfer it, the transaction fee would actually be very low.
But if you have a wallet that has 1 Bitcoin but is spread between 10 different addresses, the transaction fee would be higher.

There seems to be a fixed transaction fee for every address that will be used. That's why some fees appear to be high. It's not because the wallet is charging a high fee but rather the bitcoin you wish to transfer comes from many different addresses. Next time I suggest you only use 1 address in order to minimize transaction fees. I suggest you use Mycelium, it's an android phone wallet.
