Bitcoin transaction fees have increased to at least 2213% by the start of this year. This is due to the fact that more people are making bitcoin transactions now than ever, which means more space is needed and thus the fees rise to given the miners more reward. The transaction fees are now around $6.64 which previously was extremely low.

I have noticed this as well and with the bitcoin transaction fees being so ridiculously high i am now spending a lot of time trying to find places that accept other crypto coins, rather than bitcoin because they tend to have better transaction fees. I like to make use of doge coin to be honest.

You can convert your bitcoin to doge coin and sell doge coin to exchangers at a less transaction fee compared to bitcoin. I hope admin have doge for withdrawal I will prefer it.

Many people are now looking for alternative to reduce the transaction fee by using less popular coin so may this will reduce the transaction fee in bitcoin .
Yes you are right....when i was new in cryto words and love to do transaction by btc but unfortunately i Didn't understand that the fee so high..so later i love to use altcoin for transaction because its take small fee with speed transaction

That would be a great idea if we could withdraw in dogecoin. I think that if we had to raise this concern with them it might work in the favor of the admin too because there will be lower transaction fees for them too. Hopefully it becomes an option for withdraw in the future.

Definitely b, just ensure you have a wallet like luno that can make swapping of coins very easy and at a minor fee unlike blockchain that is high

Yep i tend to use an online exchange service like in coinpot or faucet pay and then i just withdraw in the coin that i am interested in. I find that to be a relatively easy and safe method

as i observe since this year. the fees in bitcoin not really high. sometimes high and sometimes goes down. it depends on the time and day. no permanent
It also depends on the network load and lot of users using the block chain(bitcoin) network, and bitcoin has a large number base of users, you can use ripple transaction fee is not too high

What are the general ripple transaction fees?

Depends on several factors really (like how many xrp you're transfering), but I'm pretty sure that Ripple has lower transaction fee than bitcoin. Simply try it out.
I will definitely give it a try on my next transaction and hope to see something good. Also, are the transaction times shorter than bitcoin in order for the transaction to be confirmed?

Please stay on topic guys. This thread is mainly for discussing bitcoin transaction fee, not ripple nor other cryptocurrencies' transaction fee.

The standard is 0.0000xrp and
It varies and depends on the traffic and network load at that time ,but its quite low compared to other r coin like btc
Thank you for the update. It is much appreciated.

Sure no problem. Sorry for the diversion. It seems that some other coins may be better suited to smaller transactions, rather that bitcoin, but will stick to bitcoin on this topic in the future.

Bitcoin is becoming very popular nowadays maybe the company is trying to increase it's gain ...but honestly depending on the exchanger u use ...the exchanger u use will determine the transaction fe
This is true. It does depend on the exchange, but also depends on the traffic at the time that you are making the transaction as well.

Most exchangers do charge less or high fee for bitcoin transaction, there are most times where the transaction fee is been determined and must be charged by bitcoin network, even if the exchanger sites requires no transaction fee

This is also true. The bitcoin network charges have been quite high lately. I like to use coinpot as my withdrawal for bitcoin because they have no withdrawal fees when i withdraw it to my personal wallet.

After using coinpot to withdraw bitcoin to your personal wallet(after denoting no withdrawal fee), were you still charged any fee or little amount of your btc was deducted

So the entire amount went into my wallet however to use it from there required the transaction fees, which was quite substantial actually.
