Information available on Nairametrics earlier today revealed that Crypto tracker Whale Alert tweeted that another Crypto scammer made away with 1400 BTC equivalent to $16 million.

This is becoming much in Crypto currency world, this may discourage Crypto investment in my opinion.

People just have got to used to it, there's no way around this. Besides, crypto scam is less common (but more known because of publication) than bank fraud scam which happens like every second all over the world. That means roughly 86,400 scam per day.

From where did he scam crypto? From an exchanger or from an individual? I think fault lies with low security of some cryotojor's wallets.

I think there should be strict scrutiny and proper identity verification prior withdrawal from cryptocurrencies wallet. These incidents are now too common and I think the porous nature of the cyptocurrency world gives room for scammers like this to operate. They should emulate PayPal and tight up security.
