The price of bitcoin was at its all time high value over two months ago, and since then has not managed to reach this position again of close to 65k usd. This has been a struggle for many that have bought the coin at these high prices. However, in a recent development, there was a massive rise in the price of bitcoin, increasing almost 10% yesterday and even reaching the 40k usd mark this morning. This is all due to elon musk's statement on accepting bitcoin. Do you think that this is just short lived and will decline again when mining cannot be reduced by 50% in its energy usage?

I do hope that this break above the $40k mark is not a short lived one but an indication of a bullish trend. A few coins are gradually reacting to the rise in btc but some are still maintaining their positions.

I think that chances are that this will be more of a stabilization point for now, and that a bull run could come in the coming weeks. This is my opinion. I feel stabilizing right now is the most important, given the recent roller coaster on prices.

Yeah! It needs to stabilize first and I think that is why the altcoins are moviñg gradually. I hope it doesn't take weeks though for the consolidation.

The 40k price value didn't last long and it fell back to the $30k threshold. There is something that needs to take bitcoin to it glory . For now we just have to watch the market

I totally agree with you on this. Cryptocurrency should always been considered from the long term aspect of it in order to benefit well from it.

I strongly believe that the bitcoin will rebound soon but the influence of the whales makes it more difficult for the coin to strive

I think you are right . The thing here is that whales will want to recover their loss with each rise thereby making it hard for it to rise

The whales have been doing this for a while now, I don't think they are at a loss... for them it's about taking profits, driving the prices lower, buying in again cheap and repeating this process.

The loss was when the dip went bad. Some of them weren't able to sell because they have lost much then . They have to wait for a little recovering to sell

The price of bitcoin just keeps on flunctuating. At a time it was 35kusd, and it bounced to 40kusd. i think for the time being it will fluactuate around 30k-50kusd but let us watch out one day it will get to 100kusd.

I like this outlook but I agreee that there can be a flat time, what flat means for btc, it's fluctuate between a certain range over time with a increase average over time. But yeah I think the 65k ath will be history soon and we can celebrate sustainable gains

I'm believing it going to rising and get to the bullish rate it already on 45k. Moving towards the 50k mark. Hopefully in the coming months it should get to the 60k region as anticipated

I do hope so too but we should realize that there would be corrections along the way. That could be seen in the markets in the past 24 hours.

Yeah thats true the market could move back to the highest price it got to again , and I have a big feeling that currently we are in a bullish run
