There are a lot of Bitcoin mining operations that are in the process of moving and relocating and this is a major concern for many countries as they have mining regulations that are preventing them from taking in new mining rigs, or that are causing them to move their mining rigs out of the country. One of the senators however is taking a different approach and is trying to encourage bitcoin miners to come to Wyoming. Do you think that such will help to promote the cryptocurrency world within this state?

I don't think it's a good idea, mining cryptocurrency should not be on the basis of sentiment,we need to be certain in our findings that the location suit the purpose.

I don't see any thing wrong with miners going to where they would do the task comfortably. If this is where it would be done better then I see no issues here

They could actually move to that country if probably the miners would be able to benefit fully from the government support , because the miners would also contribute to the revenue for the state , that's why the government is imploring them to relocate

Many countries restrict miners, as they ban cryptocurrencies altogether and this obviously includes closure of big mining farms in those countries. I just wonder how hard would it be for those miners to move from one country to other? It is already so hard to travel from a country to other one as Covid-19 restrictions have already limited the travelling.

In this era and time when currency is going digital some countries are baning cryptocurrency in their countries. When some other countries with vision are adopting cryptocurrency as their official currency. The best such countries could do is to place certain restrictions to control it.

This is just a propaganda to grow this city. No matter where are you worldwide,if you know how to mine bitcoin , you will mine it. Bitcoin is better than currencies, because it is same price for all. If I go to move because of btc mining,I will choose country with low price on electricity, not the USA surely. :)

There are still some countries that are still welcoming miners despite the other way other countries are treating them , countries like Argentina are really doing a great job in that and it's encouraging with that , Countries restricting miners needs to accept the miners they need to do that , because of the growth cryptocurrency have and it's importance

Bitcoin mining is very important for the Bitcoin network and the Bitcoin cryptocurrency as a whole. i think miners could be facing a lot more issues when they get banned in some countries. I know that there are definitely many countries that have no problem with Bitcoin mining, but we cannot say for sure that the things will remain the same in the future, too. For example, if Nigeria bans cryptocurrency mining and if the miners move from Nigeria to Argentina, then what is the guarantee that Argentina will not ban cryptocurrency mining in the future? This is a big problem for miners.

YOu are right looking at that analysis ,but the miners are looking at the current way of mining in that country ,that's why they relocated ,they are not looking at the future , Because no one knows how the future would be ,all we need is to first talk about the present before looking at the future

Yes, but sometimes we also need to look at the future because i believe that it is not so easy for miners to move from one location to other. I think that it would be much better if all the countries ease down their rules regarding cryptocurrency mining. What many people also overlook is the fact that when any country bans cryptocurrency mining, many miners do not even move to other countries in the first place! They rather start many "secret" mining farms in the country.

Some countries has clamped down on cryptocurrency mining and even threatened to close down bank account of individuals involved in the business. Even banks that refuse to carry out those orders their license withdrawn. Mining is a big business that should be allowed to strive.

Despite the fact that governments of many countries might have created their plans of banning cryptocurrencies, I do not think that these governments could do anything to stop people from trading or dealing in cryptocurrencies. All they can do is order banks to stop dealing in cryptocurrencies. Please note that many traders would still manage to convert Bitcoin to real cash through many other sources.

Politicians encouraging miners to move to a certain location without doing something like lowering crypto tax or electricity cost in the said region won't help anyone. Miners will go wherever they want, especially if the region has cheap electricity, low or no crypto tax, and other benefits from crypto mining.

Obviously miners will try to move away, but I do not think that moving from one place to another place would be an easy thing to do. If a country bans cryptocurrency mining all over the country, then the miners would have no option but to migrate to another country or open illegal mining farms.

I do not know a single guy in my environment who would spend time and money on mining now. However, I'm only talking about bitcoin. There are those who successfully mine altcoin. I myself chose not to start this and use my free time to explore tf2 trading sites. They say that online trading can give a small profit even with small assets. I'm not chasing big profits now.

I don't really know for sure, but what I know is that can the state be able to withstand or supply the need energy required for bitcoin mining. The Senator doesn't state why he wants miners to relocate to Wyoming.

It is understandable when countries restricts cryptocurrency mining that much. This is because the mining could be having really bad environmental effects that the countries are trying to avoid. Therefore, people should understand when such rules are put in place. I wonder if Wyoming is not experiencing the effects that others are. If that is the case, the there is absolutely nothing wrong with miners moving there.

Many people are no longer interested in mining because mining difficulty has rose a lot and the mining equipment are also very costly. Just look at the price of ASIC miners! It will cost you thousands of dollars and the cost of electricity required to mine coins is also high. This is why mining coins is not that easy anymore.

most especially when it relates to mining Bitcoin ,the mining difficulty have really boosted ,it's really difficult to mine Bitcoin at this moment ,I think that's why some miners are actually looking forward in mining other smaller coins they would find so easy to mine and earn more money
