"There are not enough chips to support the production of mining equipment," Alex Ao, a chip designer and vice president of mining equipment manufacturer Innosilicon, told Reuters. says.
The global chip shortage is disrupting the production of new Bitcoin mining devices.
What kind of problems do you think this scarcity can cause?

I think similar problems have been experienced before, but this is the first time I have just heard of such a development. But maybe they will want to solve this problem somehow.

that's pretty normal, even new released hardware isn't even in stock yet or either in the hands of scalpers that are abusing the shortage, it's just a matter of time

I think manufacturers are collecting demands in advance. Just wondering, is it a long process to produce these chips? Does it require extra effort like a lot of effort?

I think there will be some developments in this regard. For now, efforts to increase production are mentioned, albeit at a small rate.

This isn't a new thing now, even new hardware do get out of stock and everyone just wait for when it will be surface, so it is to wait out

I think this will be a very big challenge to new people that wants to mine , and a benefit to those who are miners already .

I am guessing things will be done to take care of that because it is an expedient component needed for mining. I guess the high fees for transaction may not come down anytime soon.
I think like you do, I don't expect a decrease in wages.
I saw a new report on this subject, I think the chip shortage is still serious. It is expected that the problems will continue if new producers do not come.

Guess the whole pandemic thingy also disrupted their chip manufactures process, which is understandable. Not to mention, recent btc spike also causing a sudden surge of people buying hardwares for mining.

Definitely, it will causes shortage of bitcoin supply which will further increase demand, and once there are increase in demand, it will also increase prise.
