Once, John McAfee is one of the most bullish supporter Bitcoin has. He was the one who made several hard-to-believe predictions regarding the price of Bitcoin. One of such prediction was that bitcoin will break through one million mark by the end of this year. But that's all in the past now that McAfee has turned his back on bitcoin. He backed out from his own prediction and called Bitcoin a "crippled crypto-tech" in one of his tweets just recently.

Who is McAffee? Liar and alcoholic? I do not care about his opinion. On the contrary, such clowns only scare. It's good that he left. Serious money loves silence. Only scammers love the show.

guess he can't stay true to his word, bitcoin will hit one million mark by the end of the year? obviously he saw that it is not going to happen so he back down probably to avoid backlashes from various crypto enthusiasts, and even calling or saying negativity to bitcoin just makes him like a kid

Every one is entitled to his opinion, he might have his reasons though justifying the statement will be the best. Probably he is not seeing his prediction come Tru.

John McAfee is a well-known figure in regards to protection systems, but I do not think he is doing well on cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

Probably he entered into huge Crypto currency that expected much Return on investment but was disappointed so he felt bitcoin is a crippled cryto tech. Just spectations any way

It is not a must that all prediction must come to reality, there should be more to why turned against bitcoin. Every body can put in one or two factors and predict the future price of bitcoin justifiably.

Lol. Prediction is just prediction, no one can accurately predict the future, not even the most experienced trader/analyst. I have a friend who in the past was soo against bitcoin he won't believe that if can reach the price beyond 1,000. After bitcoin nearly reached 20,000 in 2017, he instantly changed his mind.

That's how it should be , when your prediction fail, you tend to learn more by finding out why it failed, if works fine but it shouldn't make someone turn against bitcoin ,he might have his personal reasons anyways.

Well, you know, even forecasts from major specialists are not always justified, it's normal, because the market periodically presents surprises and we do not always have complete information about the events, so as always I would recommend to watch the events.

The incomplete information on things unfold are the major challenges while everyone make prediction about bitcoin prices based happenings arround the world like the pandemic or the US China Tension etc.

Just wondering what really made him back out. Is it because Bitcoin hasn't hit the amount he predicted or he believes Bitcoin is no longer promising. I think we should just be optimistic.

Seriously? McAfee is the worst kind of endorser you'd ever want to get to promote projects. Full of bull, full stop.

He's been shilling because he obviously want some big fat cut from the developers.

But why would he say such things against bitcoin, I guess this might have discouraged some of his followers and non followers from investing in bitcoin
Well he might have reasons for his criticism and claims. Just so bad.

Who knows maybe he bought bitcoin and have plans that there would be an increase in the price of bitcoin and it didn't happen ,he might look frustrated and start criticising the use of bitcoin
Its not just good at all

doesn't really look like good news , but I think even if it makes an impact on bitcoin price , it will not be that much , I mean , at the end he is not the one who control the network
