So the third bitcoin halving just took place as fans were eagerly waiting for it, but were disappointed in the end as there was no major price hike. The price is still hanging at $8500 and the halving was much like the previous two halvings. Mining rewards are now reduced to half which is around 6.25 BTC per block. Perhaps we just need to wait and see what really happens...

This is so unfortunate because people were having high hopes of an explosive price but not to be so. I for one predicted a rise to at least 9k by now. Well, let see how it goes.

I expected the increament in bitcoin price few hours before Halving but unfortunately it didn't happen, let wait and see the post Halving effect.

Bitcoin and crypto in general are unpredictable. Just because halving events in the past spiked the price it doesn't mean that the same will happen in the future.

In the near future maybe? Or in the next few months? Let's see. I actually forgot we got past the day until I read this thread lol. It's a good thing because I haven't the fund to invest yet.

I kinda doubt Bitcoin price can spike in months, maybe in years yeah but not months. And when it does happen, hopeully it can rival or even beat the 2017 spike.

I can't be agree with you because before btc halving it price was around 5k$ but look now it's price raise up to 9.8k$..don't it's huge change to you..just think clearly

Pretty sure you didn't follow the btc price history closely - in February it spiked and nearly hit the 10,000 usd mark but then it fallen again and now rise again.

Its not like the price will increase instantly. Total effect can take place from now to February 2022. Between these time any portion of months may be bitcoin reach its highest ever price. Researching past halvenings this came to reality following figure (you see 2013 and 2017 profit went maximum those were year after halvening and then next year faces loss red):

Huh? There's always a bad year after three consecutive years full of growth, then based on that model btc will possibly explode in 2021 or 2022. Hope it will become a reality.

Trend can change definitely. may be bitcoin will continue increasing rapidly every year cause its getting more popularity and more speed (considering $3801 to $10000 recent reach within very short time compared to previous long months increase from $3400 to $14000).

Up and down may flow naturally indicating temp high and temp low price and both may tend to go higher. DASH is also moving good towards meeting total supply and once acconplished price may increase significantly.

the site with the highest income!
If you only want to concentrate on 1 site, this is the one I recommend. Because it is one of the best ways to easily earn bitcoin.

Opinions are very divided at the moment about the future of bitcoin, but it seems that the price is still stable at the moment. Personally, I am optimistic. I think miners still have a lot to gain, and the use of bitcoin is becoming more common. The price will surely increase, we just have to be patient.

Yeah till now there's no substantial increase in the price. We will wait and see if BTC rises. It's better to hold them if you think BTC has potential to cross 10k

I don't necessarily know why the halvin occurred in the first place. Many people invested huge amount of money so after the halving they could redeem huge profits but the prices barely increased and to make things worst mining went a lot harder. I
It is programed to occur except for those people who don't know about it, the next one is program to occur by June 2024, probably some people that invested knew little about bitcoin.

The attitude of people towards Bitcoin over a decade ago is very much different from what is obtainable now. Due to the presentation of the digital currency, which many mistook to be a scam due to its "too good to be true" appearance, most people ignored it.
They are still ignoring though percentage is on the decrease cos of the social media awareness and the reality of how people are making real money from it.

It is gradual process, like most people who invested when the price was on the rise never knew anything called Halving but now they have learn in the process of making money , they will educate others that care to know.
