Bitcoin transactions fee has been on the high side since the 14th of June when transactions fee per network transactions moved from $0.55 per network to $3.8 per network in July 26, many see the surge in the price of bitcoin with about 11% as the major cause of this.

Yeah if he is using coinbase to send , he can exchange Bitcoin to altcoins inside coinbase and then send altcoin instead to avoid the huge Bitcoin fees.
Is this feature available in Coinbase ? I use Coinbase but have not been able to swap bitcoin for any altcoin .
Although , I do get the information that my country is not yet authorized to buy in Coinbase

You have to verify your account with kyc. It doesn't take more than 5 minutes to get your kyc verified if the document photo is clear. Once your kyc is verified, you can swap among cryptocurrencies.

I don't think this is the case here . I tried to buy but the message I got back was that I can't buy or sell for now as the offer is not yet available in my country .
I don't see the need for kyc verification then , moreover there is npnoption for it in my wallet .

buy and selling in coinbase is still only in selected country, in my country I can't buy nor sell using coinbase even with verification

Yea. This was why I stopped using g it as my primary wallet . I now use luno wallet for my transaction, it allows me to withdraw to local currency and to buy too.

I don't really agree with you on this .
Fiat currency won't dwindle as expected . because a digital version of flat currency is still the same with fiscal cash fiat currency . no country will shift from fiat to cryptocurrency easily

Countries will gradually key into Crypto currencies by creating a digital stable coin first. Fiat currency loss in value is as a result of inflation due to pandemic.

Buying and selling is not available for all the countries , it's not available for my country too. But swapping between cryptocurrencies inside coinbase wallet is available for anyone who completes kyc. Buying and selling referral yo buying crypto using fiat money. And swapping is exchanging crypto with some % fee.

Buying refers* to buying crypto using fiat money.

I currently use Coins as it has direct conversion to local currency and services but lacks buying and trading to bunch of other coins, and even without KYC , coinbase's security is kinda flawed in a way that you can't access your account anymore if you lose your number or phone

I understand your point and am aware of what swapping cryptocurrency entails .
Never know that it is possible to swap cryptocurrency in coinbase when the buying and selling offer is not available. Will check it out today.

I think coinbase has two factor authentication ,so there is still chance of recovering it through email when you claim lost phone number .

Yeah you can try it by verifying your kyc. It wont take more than 5 minutes. I used my country's government ID to verify kyc and was successful.

OK thanks for the tips . I am not comfortable with kyc verification , but will look for a way to do thus ,since is not for any airdrop .
Nevertheless , is there any wallet that allows swapping of o e coin for the other without kyc verification?

This happens every time. Have you noticed? Bitcoin transactions have been around for 10 years. But people are always wondering why the transaction price has increased ... It seems to me that no one understands what bitcoin is.

I think coinomi has that feature of exchanging cryptocurrencies without kyc , but there is Minimum to exchange. Same goes with atomic wallet which charges more fees. Coinbase is the best one though it requires kyc.

I have used coinomo wallet before , the minimum swap amount is very high especially when it is for bitcoin swap with altcoin .

Yeah and same with atomic wallet too . Instead you can try bestchange.com , this site has a big list of crypto/Payeer/perfectmoney and more exchanger sites.

it happened to one of the people I know and he couldn't access his coinbase account, no email authentication at all but he says that coinbase always prompts him to do KYC to recover an account, when he didn't even did KYC with his old account

I think this is a great achievement for bitcoin owners. Some say spending $3.80 per network transaction is too much but I think that must likely happen because a lot of people want to cash in and cash out very quick everyday so this will lead to highness in demand and fee
Thus is true . people are capitalising on the present fluctuations of bitcoin price to sell and buy at every minutes of the day .
The high fee will help control this .

Yeah bro now the network congestion is more and due to the increased number of Bitcoin transactions, the mining difficulty increases hence the mining fees increase.
