I say it's great that the greatness of bitcoin is being recognized to the extent that it's now into the political environment. I hope very soon it will spread to more sectors rather than the current ones.
Bitcoin is apparently used for many transactions, and their intended use can differ from each other. I think everything will be better if it can only be prevented from being used in illegal work, I hope they will achieve this as well.
Sure, one main problem with bitcoin is because it has no control and because of that serve as a very good asset for most of the criminals. But I hope with time things will surely Improve.
People do donate in the name of politics, and it's actually one of the reasons Nigerian government are against cryptocurrency being used so freely in their country.
Don't mind me. I was merely expecting more rationality from countries outside Nigeria with well functioning systems and capable governments.
Well, it's not only Nigeria the government is still not allowing crypto currencies to be freely used, almost all countries in the West Africa are facing that problem.
This was my first thought as I dead this, they want no kind of identification as donors so going the bitcoin route might just be what will help in that regards
Sure, powerful nations will surely support him because internationally, crypto is not prohibited and that means he didn't commit any crime that deserves arrest.
I think if he had use bank they would have quickly blocked the transfer and others , but he was really lucky there was crypto currency as well

Yeah, that is true. Because of the nature of bitcoin transactions, it's just save for the people who don't want anybody to know about their donation.
But if somehow the government of russia identified them. Like they have discovered that their officials are doing illegal things and using Cryptocurrency. They will be charged for treason i guess
Maybe they will charge and maybe not. I'm not from Russia and l don't know whether their laws see crypto as illegal so I don't best tell that effect.
