Bitcoin debit cards are like any other debit cards but they are funded with bitcoins. You can use bitcoin debit cards to make payment , to buy things online and even you can use it to cash out your bitcoins in your country's local currency at any ATM, as long as the ATM supports visa or mastercard. The two well known Bitcoin debit cards are

1.Cryptopay
Cryptopay is the most known debit card. Its main features are
-Free International Shipping (this will take some weeks to arrive) or DHL (cost depend on your location can sometimes be upto 75$, arrives in 3days)
- card price is 15$
- Includes virtual card which you must pay 2.50$ for it
- Supports USD , Euro and GBP
- monthly fee of 1$
- loading and unloading fee is 1%
- Local ATM withdraw fee is 2.25$
- Daily load limit is 20000$ while withdrawal limit is 2000$ per day

2. Bitpay
Bitpay is a recent card but its a very popular one too.Its main features are
-Card costs 10$
-Card shipping available to ship with standard(30$, takes upto 3weeks to arrive) and express(60$ takes upto a week to arrive)
-no monthly fee
-ATM withdrawal is 2$
- Daily withdrawal limit is 3000$
- Daily load limit is 10000$

There are many more debit card but this two are the most used and trusted cards.

Privacy dot com used to have a good amount of BTC connected cards. Now a days even the dash crypto has some of the debit and credit cards. What people do these days is connect the payoneer cards with exchanges. So they get exchanged money into the payoneer cards. So it works out regardless of exchanged crypto.

The availability plays a pivotal role when it comes to choosing a Bitcoin ATM card Shift and BitPay would be the most obvious solution for American customers. Wirex, which keeps expanding its reach, remains the mainstay of the European cryptocurrency debit card market, while Cryptopay keeps focusing on Russian customers. Cryptopay has both a Bitcoin Debit Card and Wallet.

I think the Bitcoin debit card you talk about for payment and purchase are two supporting debit cards Cryptopay and Bitpay both support debit cards As far as I see the limit of Bitpay is better than Cryptopay Since the cost of the card is low and the withdrawal rate is also high, I think the Bitpay Bitcoin debit card should use a number with Cryptopay

This allows the user to make purchases at any merchant that accepts debit cards, without the need to first convert their bitcoins into a traditional currency. Some of the most popular Bitcoin debit cards include BitPay, Uquid, and Wirex. These cards can be used anywhere that Visa or Mastercard is accepted.
