Bitcoin debit cards are like any other debit cards but they are funded with bitcoins. You can use bitcoin debit cards to make payment , to buy things online and even you can use it to cash out your bitcoins in your country's local currency at any ATM, as long as the ATM supports visa or mastercard. The two well known Bitcoin debit cards are

1.Cryptopay
Cryptopay is the most known debit card. Its main features are
-Free International Shipping (this will take some weeks to arrive) or DHL (cost depend on your location can sometimes be upto 75$, arrives in 3days)
- card price is 15$
- Includes virtual card which you must pay 2.50$ for it
- Supports USD , Euro and GBP
- monthly fee of 1$
- loading and unloading fee is 1%
- Local ATM withdraw fee is 2.25$
- Daily load limit is 20000$ while withdrawal limit is 2000$ per day

2. Bitpay
Bitpay is a recent card but its a very popular one too.Its main features are
-Card costs 10$
-Card shipping available to ship with standard(30$, takes upto 3weeks to arrive) and express(60$ takes upto a week to arrive)
-no monthly fee
-ATM withdrawal is 2$
- Daily withdrawal limit is 3000$
- Daily load limit is 10000$

There are many more debit card but this two are the most used and trusted cards.

I think Bitpay looks reasonable. Not sure if their debit card services will work in our country. But based on what I have seen it'd be reasonable to buy such cards. And spending them in places where they can get properly credited. It's just too good. And the market seems to be in favor of bitocin. So I think it's a good thing that such cards are coming out in the market these days as well.

From you r profile your country says Pune which is in india right, so your country is supported for both bitpay and cryptopay transactions and also card shipping.

I always hearing about Cryptopay and Bitpay, but I am unsure if it works in my country. What I am considering is Wirex because I often see it on a microtask website which pays Bitcoin. But will check of Cryptopay and Bitpay just in case it is available in ny nation.

You could also mention Xapo card . Xapo is a trusted wallet as well and they provide a debit card . I don't know about the fees but beware that Xapo can have high fees.
I heard Xapo has high fees and it puts a lot of users off. I will not try Xapo anymore. We have coins.ph here in the Philippines as Bitcoin Wallet, and will soon have their debit card.

Well that definitely is a great thing for you and people from your country. I suppose BTC is legit in your country? Its allowed by the government ?

I advise anyone who wishes to use any Bitcoin related debit card service to check their fees the first thing they open their website.
Some of these services are not worth all the trouble because of they charge too much for the debit card itself, yearly maintenance fee is too high and transaction fees can be ridiculous.

When handling with Bitcoin that has no way of tracking since accounts and addresses may be anonymously owned makes the concept of banks related to cryptocurrency all the more scary and unsafe. A quick google search regarding a company called "Mt. Gox" already tells a thousand tales on how scary it was to let others handle the movement of your bitcoin for you. Old Bitcoin owners and pioneers no longer have any trust in such establishments as Bitcoin, unlike money, is much easier to transfer all over the world and laundering such is just an easy manner. Unlike money that can be marked, Bitcoin can just be cleansed when combined with other transactions and addresses. In the end, I'd prefer just having my private key printed on a piece of paper that is put inside my safe as well as an encrypted pdf file stored in my email address with 2-step verification. That's the most secure thing for me.

Yes it is legitimate. Coins.ph, our Bitcoin wallet has more than a million members already. It is affiliated to banks and even money sending companies similar to Western Union. It is also affiliated to 7-11 and a lot more.

This can be noted. Thanks for sharing.

That's awesome. Its really surprising that such a big country such as the Philippines made BTC legitimate. Maybe other countries are gonna follow the same ?

TenX debit card recently is out in the market. The ICO finished few week ago, the product is available. They also have a cryptocoin to trade (TenX) to support the product. (You can see it at bittrex exchange site). TenX claim to be the first debit card where you can choose in which of your different coins (if you have Doge, Lite, Eth....) you want to buy.

I have read lots about bitcoin debit cards when I started using xapo wallets but the unfortunate thing is both bitpay, cryptopay and xapo debit cards don't support my country.

I wouldn't pay for a Cryto Debit Card. Baring in mind, many places in the south of dorset in england only accept visa debit cards or cash, and don't accept bitcoin as a payment methoud option it's probably not worth spending 15$ on a card.

You have got a point but it would have been more useful if the card can convert the bitcoin in it to local currency, then one can opt for it

Are there any companies that offer working debit cards currently? After Visa pulled support, all the good crypto cards i know of stopped working.

They both have high fees and its not practical. Maybe this is for those who have lots of bitcoin and not for those who only have few in bitcoins. I would still choose keeping it on my bitcoin wallet and tranfer it to my paypal. Much safer.

The ones I know that are working with a debit card are TenX and Monaco; they came as ICO's and know they are on the field and working. The blockchain technology is being used for many banks; sure VISA will be back on cryptos sooner or later.
