If you search for bitcoin in google, it will pop up with all the cryptos having the name bitcoin. It has become more confusing for a newbie, as all of them contain bitcoin, unable to decide which crypto will be a better option.

I have come to know that there are several cryptos with the name of bitcoin. Like bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, bitcoin diamond. I am afraid but are they all developed by same team? And what are the difference between those coins. As bitcoin already is a hit in the market, then why would some bring other coins with same name? Isn't it copyrighted?

There's probably no difference. It's like a paper dollar and cents.

You know the way we have so many coins having 'doge' attached to the names just to imitate dogecoin, I think that is exactly what those coins with bitcoin attached are. They have different developers. Another scenario is that they are bitcoin forks but that doesn't necessarily warrant being named after bitcoin.

They are closely related. I think the reason there are many coins sharing Bitcoin is to cover the flaws of another and it is owned by different people but are subordinates.

No I do not think they are owned or.developed by the same people. But influenced by bitcoin.. i think Bitcoin cash is created to succeed the old bitcoin since Bitcoin we have now is different with the original.. but decided to go it's own way which results in the fork of bitcoin sv that aims to revive the original Bitcoin

Not at all , they have different owners but all of them belong to the same blockchain. They will built in order to argument the deficiency in each .

Bitcoin came as one of the most popular crypto. So seeing it having other subsidiary cryptocurrency won't be a shock to me. It is already a successful coin. I Believe it owns the other mentioned.

The problem is that the daughter coins could turn out to be fakes and many people would lose their money. You have to be very careful when investing in cryptocurrency.

The risks here are a little high. So you have a chance to make a bigger profit if the exchange rate goes up.

Bitcoin cash and Bitcoin gold are not the same as Bitcoin and I do not know if it's designed by the same developer. I want to learn too and I will follow closely the comments.

I don't think it's copyright or anything like that , most coins usually have names relating to each other and it doesn't seems to be an issue , I think the Bitcoin cash was created to give attention to the coin , and many confuse it for Bitcoin
