bitcoin ATM (2).jpg

wow, it's a good thing to see bitcoin ATMs in at least 7 countries in Africa Totaling to 14 bitcoin ATMs, we still need more in countries like Zambia, Nigeria, Angola, Mozambique, Moroquo, and many other popular countries around Africa. and please if anyone has an idea how this technology can be established, what are the resources to build a bitcoin ATM so that it be accessible locally?

PLEASE! also share your thought on why this tec cannot be adopted in your own country?

They can't because it is not traceable, I see it to be much more secure than the direct bank withdrawals now that CBN search light is on bank accounts.
Of course I know this . Am even wondering what they were thinking before ? , That they can fully stop cryptocurrency ? ,I doubt that it is possible for this to be down .

We can jump into conclusion immediately . We need to wait and see if the SEC a d CBN will reach to a con census where it will be regulated than ban.
I think the delay might be too much, because we all know how many days or years it takes the government to attend to issues like this , because they are not affected

I understand your point of view ,but this particular issue should be treated urgently and with a lot of concern on the welfare of the citizens. Also there is pressure on them

Right now there is no pressure on them most especially when a large percentage of the government are actually corrupt i think

I think the pressure is coming from cryptocurrency companies and Nigerian citizens. There has been several tweets online criticising it .

Well critising online is not going to put it into effect because we actually typing words and not taking actions, that will make the government change the policy

Well , this is true but we are in a country where there is segregation . For instance ,during the police brutality protest . Some northern states failed to join the protest because of the current president is from their region

Yeah i think even up till now some part of the country still support the ban of bitcoin i think ,and this is actually what surprises me most i think

They are the ignorant ones who do not know the potential in bitcoin investment. They sees it as something belonging to scammers alone .

Yeah they actually dont invest in it and they dont know about the importance of bitcoin , that is the main reason they supported the ban

The truth is that CBN might not be ready to allow this ,because they will be losing long term investors to cryptocurrency. People will no longer consider saving in bank.
The monies pass through the banks at the end, right? As much as I know it would affect the banks, if I know my country well, I still think that there are some other underlying reasons that has much to do with control and some people not benefitting, hence the ban.

Well i think the banks are the one s happy with the ban , since they feel that crypto currency is a threat and people no longer save in the bank

just on that note, which do you think is more critical to create a digital currency or creating a bitcoin ATM?
I think creating bitcoin atm is more convienient for me ,because most country are actually creating digital currency to ban bitcoin and others i think

The fact is that they do not want us to be financially free . They are afraid that time may come when they have to seek for tugs during election ,they will not find . When we will not vote them because of the peanuts they share.

Nigeria have a bitcoin atm and its located in Lagos ,only that the poster have forgotten to include that as well i think , but Nigeria surely have bit co in atm
That is wonderful,I wish I can see it.Whoever has the ATM card in Nigeria should upload the picture for us to see.I am happy for this innovation.I pray the CBN,the Apex bank in Nigeria will come to it's senses and reverse some of it's policies that against bitcoins

The ATM card was still in progress before the ban. It is only the ATM machine that has been fully installed in Lagos State for now

When you search about that on google and click on images you would see a picture of the bitcoin atm , i think the CBN are the one delaying many development

Ok,I was thinking along that line but does the Bitcoin atm has irs own special machine or it uses the conventional ones for dispensing cash?
With time Nigeria will embrace bitcoins fully

Yeah a lot of people are willing to benefit from bitcoin in the country , only that the government are the ones delaying things to the maximum i think
