I think that there are many countries that are actually looking to try and control the number of crypto miners that they have in their country and they are doing this through regulations and tax as well.
It is a very good move because they can know the number of miners they have and will know the level of electricity they can consume and they will know how best they can licence them to operate which will bring the revenue for them too.

Many of those miners uses too much amount of electricity and could affect the country revenue, its the best thing to give them a license

Before the country allow mining they must have done their feasibility studies especially on electricity consumption on mining and that of domestic consumption so it's obvious that they see it visible before allowing it.

True actually because they cant just accept mining if they see that it won't have any benefit to them on the long run , they must first see the benefit

The main reason behind Iran legalizing the crypto coins is because they were annoyed with the sanctions out on them by western countries. Their own currency was so undervalued. Now they can generate bitcoin which has equal value everywhere.

That might be part of it ,but the main prospect is for them to generate revenue ,they are part of countries that were affected by terrorist so they need money for rebuild

In many ways they were getting benefitted. It's a a positive development for the crypto. I hope there will be more countries who will follow suit. Actually the major countries are more concerned about this, but poor countries will be beneficiaries.
