Follow Along Bitcoin and Altcoin Faucets

A journey about acquiring bitcoins and altcoins with no risk involved and without any investments.

It began about 4-6 weeks ago when a friend mentioned he wanted to buy Bitcoin and I decided to do some research on mining, buying, trading, scams, altcoins etc.

Cryptocurrency has great potential but there are 2 sides of the coin here so to speak.
On the one side cryptocurrency is a new fancy shiny illusion but more accurately a DISTRACTION from acquiring real tangible assets and investments like precious metals.
Find videos on YouTube with Doug Casey for in depth study of this.
On the other side, this can be a great opportunity for anyone to make good money if they are able to speculate well.

Cryptocurrency is UNPREDICTABLE! It is given value by it's user base, meaning if people find good use for it there will be a demand to buy it thus giving the currency certain value.

Low in demand = value drops.
High in demand = value rises.

When I found faucets, which work like any other PTC (Paid to click) site, it seemed like a great idea because there was no risk involved, there was no investment required.

After using a few of these faucets, I noticed it would take forever to make any decent amount of coins just claiming by myself. However most faucets have referral programs that pay anything between 5% - 100% for all referral claims.
Not only that, I started to discover other ways of earning bonuses and extra free coins.
This was a bright prospect.

I always look far ahead with these ideas so made a hypothetical calculation.

If you managed to get 100 000 active referrals one day... it is possible right? With SEO content marketing, Social Media, Advertising etc.
It may take a few years but if each of these active referrals creates a commission of just 1000 Satoshi a day, you would receive 1 Bitcoin every day!

1 Bitcoin is worth about $2749 today.

Is it worth it?
I am surely going to try! ^^,

Have already found some great faucets and PTC's that are reliable and payout (below in green).
I use CoinPot for 5 of the faucets and transfer the amounts directly into my Coinbase account and there are no transaction fees for that. For Dogecoin you can use your Dogechain wallet address and there will also be no transaction fees.

Looking into some auto-collectors but not sure if these are legal at this point?

I will add to this journey report or start a new one...

Kind regards,
Kamil

I think it's a good target. But you have to find out how much time you are investing and how much effort you are investing. That total has to manage with the output that you are getting. Because that is what is going to get the actual result there. Make sure whatever you are putting on, you get something back. Often what happens is that people are working harder but not much getting result.

100k referrals?
You will have to invest more in advertising than the actual owner of that faucet, plus many faucets don't last that much.
100000 referrals ?
It's impossible , the faucets + PTCs niches, togheter doesn't have so many users .
As you maybe already read this guide https://www.beermoneyforum.com/threads/guide-faucet-websites-a-way-to-earn-cryptocurrencies-faq.776/ on the faucets categorizing section (point 11) , i stated (from my experience in this niche) that a successful faucet-game can gather up to 3000 users online daily and a normal faucet around 100.
My estimation is that around ~30k people are using a niche.
Meaning 30k for micro earnings (faucets), 30k for hyips , 30k for PTCs, and so on.
In other words is impossible to get 100k referrals for a faucet.
Anyways , indeed, faucets doesn't have a long life , and money invested to get refs can't be recovered in let's say 95% of the faucets so some free ways to get ref also must be used besides paying advertise .
Before to advertise a faucet you need to know how old is the faucet, how serious it is, who is the admin , what is his history on opening stable faucets, how the faucet does look like ,if it has attractive design or just using a normal scrypt , if it is easy to use , etc. You can't just join to a faucet and throw away 5$ in bitcoin for advertising without knowing or estimating the future of that website (i'm ignoring the bitcoin price in this comment).

I think you missing the power of Social Media sharing and SEO content marketing (organic traffic)?
There is not that much requirement here for advertising.

If a faucets gets 100 000 referrals they not going anywhere.

I don't know maybe I' just being too enthusiastic or optimistic but it's a good goal to aim for and a lot of lessons will be learned along the way to report on :)

@Kambas Just trying to help you set realistic goals and achieve success soon. 100K is a bit too much, even for me!

Also if you are that confident with your promotion on social media why not promote your referral link from BMF and get 500 BMF Coins per valid referral, we allow social traffic. :D

Thank you so much for your insight, I have considered all this information sure but still have hope.
This is one of my referral id's for one of the faucets I use /?r=5391120
As you can see there are over 5 million users on this faucet. Yes I know we mustn't assume just because the id is over 5 million that's how many users there are but in some cases this is the exact number of users.
So why would you doubt 100k referrals?
Faucets are still in their developing stages, who knows what's still coming down the line.

Well, WHY NOT! :D
I did just get here a few days ago but have grabbed my referral link and will start a SM campaign soon.
The goal must obviously start small but I always say if you can get 1, you can get 10. If you can get 10 you can get 100 and so on.

Yes, I have no doubt this would take a few years, maybe 2-3 years and grinding SEO and SM campaigns.
It was a HYPOTHETICAL estimation of how it can be possible to earn 1 Bitcoin a day, doesn't mean I can do it but it's also something to work towards.
If it fails, meaning if the faucet closes for some reason, the same tactics can be reapplied in another affiliate campaign.

LOL, Its good to made more and more referrals also when the contest is going. 100 K is so much tough but i won't consider it impossible.

That's a very high target, but faucet stats are higher than you think. I was looking into one faucet ad network for my blog which also promoted to faucet owners.
They would only allow faucets with 100K+ visitors per day to sign up. Think how may faucets there are and the potential traffic/referrals.

It seems you are doing well with faucets. I actually left some faucets because they are draining. I will go back into blogging where I can possibly earn bitcoin.

I agree, faucets can be draining and there's a lot of clicking involved but I think they're a great way for people to get their first taste of cryptocurrency for zero outlay (apart from the electricity to power their PC!).
Have you been successful with blogging?

Yes, if you click the first green link below (my signature) that is my website and I have a blog on there about all sorts of affiliate programs and online money making ideas.

Hi Kambas,
That's a really interesting read - well written and pack with information.
I started my own site about faucets a couple of weeks ago (see signature) and have managed to build up a small following of affiliates but it's slow going for now. I need to do more social promotion to try to gain more.

Yes, I share a lot of strategies to get referrals and also on SEO building. My organic traffic is growing every month so it's working. Too bad I don't have more time to write more articles with targeted keywords (which takes time to research).

You need to edit your signature because it's not clickable.

The content part does take quite a bit of time to get right, but I like to see it as primarily a useful service to people and the money making side as gravy. I haven't gone too far into the world of targeted keywords yet but I would like to build my organic traffic so I need to look into that.
Thanks for pointing out my signature wasn't clickable - should be working now.

I am still trying to figure out everything. I am really new to all of these. My mind is like blowing already. I hope I can understand totally everything. Not to mention I have a lot of readings to do. Phew!

No worries ;)
Always one step at a time.
To be realistic you have to set goals and drive in that direction otherwise you just end up going in circles hehe

It can seem daunting to start with, but don't be put off! There's loads of information out there which will help you and once you get started it can be an exciting world to be part of.
Just keep at it and keep reading and educating yourself and you'll get the hang of it all in no time.

The journey of gathering or claiming these satoshi isn't easy and it can be frustrating that trying to convert into your currency and you realize you were wasting your time,so it either you continue or you stop to work else where if you need fast money.I gather these coins religiously over time and when I try converting it,it was less than $5 I couldn't believe so I dump it.couple with the fact that those addictive games on the sites wasn't helping matters the more I play to win or add coins religiously instead I kept losing. Maybe I was doing it wrongly.

Maybe I could start the journey all over again and see how it will go this time.

It can take a long time to gather bitcoins from faucets and gambling is a sure fire way to lose them all. Remember, the house always wins. Perhaps you should think about building up referrals from faucets, that way you can earn a passive income and generate more cash for yourself.
