Sounds good to me. I still don't like doing this type of work and I don't like how it works either. I guess it is good for some people to do this, but for me I won't be bothered with this type of site or work.

why you didnt like it?
if your user like to visit yours, url shortener is no problem for them, they just have to see ads before see content
what use is it if you have visitor but no money

This is all fine and dandy and it might be a good way to earn some money. For right now my friend wants a site that is ad free to start off with and isn't plastered with URL shrink links and things like this. In the beginning it is a good idea to try and keep the site clean and afterwards add slowly a few things to make money from the site.

I had some major issues with the URL shrink link sites. I did try a few of them. When they were redirected to the ad site this totally screwed up my Google account and ranking. I ended up with a lot of broken links from all this. I tried to test this site and found out that each time the link was clicked on it would lock up and not redirect you back to the website. It would open up another page and tons of stuff. I tested this on a few posts and immediately removed them. I also saw on my stats where people had clicked on these links, but when I went to the site I still had a zero balance. It was a big rip off for me on this one.
