If you search where Binace headquarters is located on Google, you'd find that it's based in Malta. But that's not the case, as Changpeng Zhao CEO of Binance said in a tweet that they don't have a license to operate in Malta and don't really have a headquarters. He even said that it is based in many places which sounds absurd. Maybe he is trying to hide something...

Maybe that's not the original Binance headquarters. There are always scam people or company that may pretend to be binance or other reputed exchangers.

Malta got chosen because of its relaxed financial rules and law, just like many HYIP programs and binary options companies out there.

Woah, that seems really weird... why doesn't the Binance founder just tell us where the company is based, this would definitely help assured people and make them trust the company way more than what he currently is doing.
