Binance CEO Zhao again declared that Binance is a large organization without headquarters.
Changpeng Zhao said that "Binance has not any headquarters" during an interview with a reporter. Binance CEO Zhao worked from home for the last three and a half years. The whole leadership team is not sitting in one office. CZ added that if somebody thinks about their common idea of a company, "They think about a headquarters, an office, a registration, etc. But today you can run businesses with apparently none of those."
What do you think about this statement?

He just covered it up. For the safety of traders and the company, he must to say that. We know many hackers are waiting outside and they really must know where to attack and get those cryptos..
Good job...

Well i think because of security they might choose not to get headquarter, but he should also note that some investors don't like investing in platforms without a physical office

I think this is reasonable for a company like this, as most things can be done remotely. However, it probably requires more trust because you have less control and oversight over what your colleagues/employees do if they are not physically there.

The bad side of it is how can he be traced though very likely in the course of registration or mode of operation he might have given vital information about himself to relevant agencies in case of any eventualities.

I think this is for tax or regulation then for security. If you operate a physical site you have one location to secure;
physical, with cams, guards, manlock, id cards what ever
their network, with virtualisation, isolation, pattern detection, firewalls and stuff

if everybody works from home, you need to scale this security efforts to every single employee - and for a black hat i assume it would not be that complicated to track down the location of a Binance member to attack them at home. this is security through obscurity - and never worked well.

Of course, wfh can be secured good enought for most cases, but I don't think that security is the key reason to work from home.

Well i think the member and workers could be anonymous ,making it difficult to track them ,but they still have their beter reason for working from home too .because its still not clear

That's Great , When You Want To Exchange At An New Website You Look for Reviews , Location And Contacts If Those Are Working Its Fine

Here we go

What You Meant By " Here We Go " Didn't Made Any Sense At All , If You Put Slightly More Effect The Discussion Will Remain A Good One To Be Honest Actually

I was thinking Binance's headquarter is simply in Singapore. Their is no problem if Binance exchange has no hQ, at least they are functioning proper, which is the main thing.

According to what I read the Binance Head quarter has always been on Chapeng Zhao's system no physical Head quarter like coinbase has.

This is surprising to me tho , because not having a physical location might make it difficult for the people to trust them ,and the government to give them license ,that means if they have a license the government must have known where they are doing the business

I also thought of that but I wouldn't do the strategy that they adopted which made them very popular without and physical office but I Believe by now they should be working on that of which have read something very similar to that.

Yeah I think the route they took was very risky ,it might not work for some exchange platform and I think the unique service they were offering increased their popularity more

Does this thing matter to Binance? No, you can simply be on your house and create what's very much giving you billions without setting up an office.

It matters concerning the growth of the platform and the kind of forms under it care at the moment, you can see how coinbase established their headquarter.

Hmm, no problem, only time will tell if changpeng Zhao will consider having a branch just like Coinbase have spreaded their branch all over the globe.
