That is really a contradicting statement and maybe perceived harsh but its the truth,in my personal thought i think bitcoin is performing well because of the current world economic suppression.The experts say the total output of the economy can be measured in two distinct ways namely:gross domestic product and gross domestic income.The first one adds consumption,investment,government spending,and net exports whilest the latter adds labor compansation,business profits and probably other sources of income These in the current situation are in a backdrop and the world economy is expected to shrink by 3.2 percent this year.The more we see natural or systhentic disasters that can likely cripple the economy and physical assets the more the value of bitcoin and digital assets can adjust upwards.

Personally, I hope it won't come to the economy crashing for bitcoin to rise. That would be very bad for ordinary people.

I hope so too. The economy flourishing or crashing impacts the common people the more. I can already see so much suffering here because of inflation and other things not working in the government.

Does the economy really need to go down for bitcoin to rise? I do not think so but from the things that have been happening, i believe this is right. It sounds harsh but that is actually how it is. Look at the recent biggest pointer; Covid. Due to the pandemic, the economies of the world have taken a big hit and did you all notice the rise in bitcoin? The surge was due to the fact that people diverted their focus towards crypto especially bitcoin at that point because of the decline of the economy.

So, for bitcoin to keep rising, people need to pump more into bitcoin and that would mean less on the fiat currencies. So, yes, for bitcoin to really increase, the economy would have to go down. Also, this is the period to invest in crypto and trade.
