As our privacy is important, identity documents are of the most important information of your privacy.

When you earn online, you are almost 100 % will face the situation that you will be asked to provide identity verification documents to them to receive payout there. Then we have to be calm and think the following things first :

The reliability and trust of that site (deeply check from forums, reviews, social media etc)?
The history of the site (old site ?)
Your earning amount is worth the case?
The popularity of the site (international with many long term users)?

If all these conditions passed, you can be confidence to give your identity verification documents to the sites, otherwise there should be some risk and I think I will rather not continue there.

Why was it risky? I only upload my documents to a verified site. Im also even aware of all the thief identity over the internet. So, its really hard to gave your personal identity to anyone all we need to do is be always alert, aware, and very vigilant at all times.

Yes I agree. We must be very careful before uploading our personal informations online. Scammers and hackers are everywhere. Double check if the site is legit and also check the address of the site if it is correct before you upload your document.

I don't even give the identity documentation on facebook either. because it's shady to ask people for their ID document. I personally think that people should not give ID and any form of documens. because there does not seem to be any point in that. besides people can see that it would be more or less likely to be misused. so one should avoid going for such type of the documents. that's what I have learned.

Good tips. In spite of these tips, there are still some who are enticed to give their personal information especially their credit card, bank, email address, among others. You know money is hot especially in highly investment venture wherein instant money is being promised.

Such documents are usually required on affiliate marketing sites or some mining and passive sites , in order to verify if the person is real or fake. In my opinion it is a good step. Now , even almost all the payment processors require such documents including the bitcoin wallets like Xapo and coin base , so there is no harm in submitting the documents :)

You have the point. But in the past, many had been victimized by anomalous sites. They appear to be legitimate but in the long run they turn to a scam.

I will say it not even good to upload personal information online especially when it comes to our earnings and payments account,I'm always weary of such sites and I don't even indulge them.

Well you are right that its really dangerous.. on the other side we can't earn money on that particular service without giving such information so we are kinda in a bad situation. The only thing you can do if you do not like to share your info is to look for another service that doesn't require that. Not every service requires it.

What afraid in submitting documents to prove your identity in an online is when someone hacks it and used it as their own identity to make a fool. Before we submit documents, we should read first the agreement or terms and conditions. If the site promised they won't share your personal identity, I think it is safe. What the most important you won't able be a victim is don't share private info such as password. Better have different passwords in every site you engage.

I have been asked by some sites to upload a scan if my personal identity documents and I did. I still never got approved after finishing my application.

I also never knew it could be risky and I don't know what useful thing they can do with the information. I will now reconsider this when applying for strict sites.

Nice tips from the Op, I don't even give such informations out though email address are very easy to give cos most sites request your email address for futher communication and it is not too risky give that but other forms of identity needs thorough verification before given them out

Unless you are 100% sure that the site is legeit, neve ever give out your personal information because if you easily do, it is like you are opening the door for scammers and hackers online.

Yea, I don't always show my earnings to anyone too since if you show them a huuge amount of money to someone then it would just mean you are inviting hackers, scammers and etc. To search you, to know what you are doing, and many more.

I will never provide a scan copy of my ID or any other sensitive information to any earning website, no matter if it's legit or not. There is no legal reason for that. The only websites where I will be willing to provide such personal information are payment processors like PayPal but even they haven't requested such details yet.

I never provide my personal details to any site whether they they allow to earn or not I'm not bothered at all ,for me privacy is first and must not be shared with anyone ,i even not update my pics in fb ;earning sites are far away:thankx!!...

Are
those documents required before one can withdraw on paypal? I thought submission of ID are just for business account, and for personal account it is okay to just provide the info from your linked account even without sumitting an ID.

You are right cos some sites that demands for such information are sites that their pay is not even worth the information they demand.

Too late to warn others, tho its good to be late than never right?. i've seen so many personal info generator online (idk if all personal info there is true) but the fact that the word "register" is a practically way of getting your information, and other site ask for uploading your public documents. So lets all be carefull.

Yes, we should take extra precautions in uploading our pertinent documents for it can be stolen and can be used by others to some praudulent activities without our knowing. Before uploading our documents, we need to ensure the site's legitimacy.
