As per Coindesk, the malware name is Anubis and it has been sold in the darknet marketplace since June. Its source code was forked from another malware by the name of "Loki." Microsoft Security Intelligence reported limited attacks by using the malware in recent months. The malware is usually spread with unsolicited emails and attachment with ".iso" extension. If you see one in your inbox immediately delete it since the malware is able to steal your sensitive information, including crypto wallet ids and more.
