The worst thing that you can ever possibly do in life is to prey on the vulnerable people and for those that are in a slump and are going through depression. But a recent article has shown that there are dozens of Facebook groups that offer to sell deadly poison to people contemplating suicide, with the payment being made in bitcoin, and other cryptos. This was revealed by a BBC investigation.

What is even sadder that these people do not try to dissuade the person from suicide but rather give them instructions on how to carry it out and make use of their poison, as for them this is just another transaction. The BBC didn't name the compound being sold, yet said more than 60 Facebook pages were professing to sell it, and most were promoting it as a self destruction instrument.

Please stay away from these sites! And if you need help speak to someone about it, anyone! There are many people there for you and suicide is never the answer as it does not end the pain but just passes it on to another person... the ones that you leave behind. Do not fall for this. Any problem can be sorted out with the right guidance.

I would have also thought that there would have been some sort of filter for these things, but perhaps they are being advertised differently. Either way, since there are a number of articles about it Facebook should be actively taking action against these things. This is very dangerous and illegal.

This is a very sad news, to think that some group of people are behind this, not caring for their fellow human bein life, but only interested in making money, this is an inhumane act, I hope Facebook takes an action against this evil act.

Then don't filter them through the pictures but rather from the description, I believe auto flagging words are more easier than scanning pictures.

I guess this is one offence that should be encouraged. Imagine if the death rate if these were real poisons. They are doing those they are selling fake poisons to a favour for them to stay alive and I feel they should he applauded.

Facebook can create such thing to detect the fake and scam ads because most ads looks legit and later start scamming people of their cash

Yes you are right. But Facebook is a big platform, it should notice such tupes of ads and the team must develop a software which remove such ads after getting reviews of people
