Attackers used the BetFury website to make the next scenario. They got a database dump from an unrecognized source and decided to initiate mass account creation on the BetFury website to find the victims to attack. As a result, lots of unregistered users received an account creation confirmation from BetFury, even if they didn't know about our platform.

Another side of this issue is that as a result of this attack some users (if passwords were matched from the database attackers used at the time of the attack) faced unauthorized withdrawals. Fraudsters gained access to users' accounts where 2FA was not set.

The BetFury's back-end system and user database were not affected. The described case is related to the third-party database that was leaked to the open network.

How is the BetFury team solving this case?

Once this issue was located the BetFury team stopped unauthorized payments by several predefined criteria that we are not eligible to tell about due to security reasons.

We would also initiate password change requests for users who use Emal/Password as a Login method.

All the unauthorized pending payments will be rejected and returned back to users' accounts. All the pending transactions stopped by the antifraud criteria will be processed.

It said 'SUCCESS Please check your email'. Then, I checked my email and I haven't receive it. So, I waited longer. Then, I checked my email again and I still haven't receive it. You could try writing a support ticket before saying scam. Many websites will ban you for slander.

Also, try checking your spam and whitelisting the betfury email address.

BetFury.io is NOT a scam.....I repeat BetFury.io is NOT a scam.

Just now, I tried again to login but again cannot. Instead it still asked me to reset password. I again entered my email and clicked on 'Reset Password' button. It said 'SUCCESS Please check your email'. Then, I checked my email and this time I received reset password email confirmation. I went through it and now everything is back to normal.

If any of you, after entering your email and click on 'Reset Password' button, and it said 'SUCCESS Please check your email'. Then, after you check your email and still haven't receive your reset password email confirmation, please try it again after hours later or try it again another day.

I guess it is due to the attack they faced on their servers or maybe they decided to fix some loopholes on the site i am sure it will be fixed soon.
