I tried once raising money for a school project and had success, I was going in each classroom and tell everybody about my project and they helped me with a buck or 2 and I raise $418 in a week or so... it was a good start for my project.

I could have invested, if you were a known person to me, but how can one trust to you or anyone online? It's impossible to get someone who can raise funds with you. Who knows tomorrow you will kick to the fund-raiser person.

Try making your own shirts in teespring.com and market it, its the best way any noob can make money without spending a cent, only needs vivid imagination.

The hardest thing online is to get visitors donate something to you, unless you have a blowing project/story I see no way you could manage to get investors/donors when clearly you are a nobody yet, no reputation you screwed before you launch your campaign.

I don't think the type of project he is working on would do well on one of the fund raising sites but I could be wrong. Why don't you tell us a littlem more about your idea and perhaps one of us can guide you to a source of funding.

If a person has a genuine idea, then kickstarter is a site that's been proven to work over the year and they've funded alsorts of projects.

Being a reputable site, you have to pitch your idea as you would if you walked into a bank or delivering a pitch face to face to potential investors, and its not easy.

It's certainly a lot harder than just coming on a forum and asking people to invest via a PM without even telling us what we're investing in.

I would suggest for you to find angel investors. They are usually people who invest their money in small businesses or startups just like yours. Of course, you will have to pitch your idea unto them and they would have to like it or believe in it to invest in it. In exchange, they will have some part of your company or a share, if that's what you want to call it.

In order for an angel investor to approve of your idea, you would have to work on your business plan. Show them just how you plan to execute or promote your product. Then, you must work on the prototype of the product itself to show the investor how good or relevant it is. All in all, show passion and motivation when talking to the angel investor so he or she will believe in you and the product you're wanting to sell.

what kind of business idea do you have in your mind. How much investment you need. How long will it take to recover the investment. Please explain. I may be interested if I learn the detaila

Well, most times I believe asking money from people that knows you well and know how geninue that projects or desires are would render help quickly than going online for help like this. Alot of times online community seems this projects as scam and might not want to drop a dime.

Basically you could start from asking your friends, relatives or close allies for help,if that does not work you could use the online platform like the gofundme and Nariafund and see how it goes.

Many people give money for a worthy cause. It's anything that help people with issues or problem. This country is very generous when it come down to giving money. You just have to come up with something that is meaningful and important.

I don't know how come people will invst into ideas. because you have not something proven and shown for it. and if you do then giving funds would be easier. but if you never show up with idea and implementation. then i am guessing it's not much worth it. but yes you can try your luck. you can ask the patreon and the kickstarter. that can earn you some good moeny. though not a lot of much there. but it can be decent earning for sure.

There are many crowd funding websites out there. You just have to find out which one is paying good money and if it is free. Youtube should be your tool for that. I believe that these sites are legit. No one complained about them yet. They also have a good reputation.

I think the raising funds is easy and free with the indiegog and the kickstarter. but handling those things are not going to be easy. you have to be really understanding of that part. I guess we learn from the experience in such case. that's for sure.

Those of these crowdfunding sites hardly helps with projects maybe it could be the public interest because it tilted towards serious health issues more often than not.but if one is lucky to get funded for a project, that will be a great one.it good one just access all to find out which would bear positive result.

I am a member of a particular environmental group on facebook and they are raising funds through their Facebook page. I find this to be interesting. They have been able to connect to many people through their Facebook page

Ideas don't make investments. You need to have a tangible product to find investors.
On that note you can ask for a loan on many sites if you have a good idea and a working prototype of your idea if it be software or anything psychical.
