Youtube has tons of ways and ideas on how to raise funds. I use this method in nearly everything that I do.

I thought this forum would be a good place as its all about making money. It would be good as a forum if we can do some good as well to discuss how we can earn money for charities as well.

I've tried to do a (deep) brainstorming for a few minutes, but the possibilities you already mentioned are quite general and cover almost every way to raise funds. I'd have something more concrete when it comes to the sponsorship events: what about organizing a karaoke party and raise a small amount from every person who wants to sing a song?

Crowdfunding through online forums and websites like kickstarter can be one options. You can also use steemit to raise funds. Lot of charities are doing this. And it'd be reasonable to see how the funds are used properly.

I think that's included in the "sponsorship events" category, that's why I was saying that he covered almost everything by saying them generally. but to be honest, I also find the events as being the most effective idea

I think some of the crowdfunding websites are good enough in many ways. You just have to find the one where your campaign gets accepted. that way you can work around it. because indiegogo and kickstarter seems to be good to start with.

I was thinking about another thing that might be a good idea. If the cause is really touching, you may contact some YouTube vloggers - many of them are being watched by millions of people and that might also gather some funds

I prefer organising concerts and begging stars may be local ones to grace it.it should be organise in such a way that people would be willing to pay and donation should be sort for too.

Asking people for donating could come across as begging. Fundraising would be a better option. Here are some options. A 24/7 live stream
Selling services
Street fundraising - cake sale, etc.
A sporting event.

I heard about some websites like Go Fund Me, But the issue is these sort of websites don't work in India so I don't have any first hand experience of that, But I have heard that some even use these websites to fund for their personal expenses like Vacations which does not sound cool.

I think the best way to raise funds for charity is through street fund raising because this is very common in my country. This is the simplest way of soliciting funds to be used for charity works that we are using every time that we will be having such activity.

There are multitudes of ways that you can raise money for charity. What I have seen many people do is creating facebook pages and using them to ask for donations. This has been quite effective as people from across the country and the globe at large will contribute. For charity dinners, there are limitations on who can attend because in most cases where I come from, they set such a huge amount as the contributions. So this is for the elite and wealthy people. Selling services and stuff is okay same as street fundraising. One important thing according to me is not limiting how much one can contribute.

That is really a great idea.Anybody,who wants to do some charity work,can use his social media sites to post there announcements and all his followers can contribute to the charity by donating their personal stuff.

eBegging is one way to raise funds for any cause. If you are into online mobilization, you can eBeg and raise money for whatever cause of choice. The word sounds funny and one can interpret it in a different way but trust me, all of those eBegging sites exist for a purpose. Go eBeg and you will get enough money to help you solve a problem or a need.

I have read some interesting articles on a website,and to continue reading the articles it was asked to donate some cash,just for a coffee.This might be a good idea as well,I guess to raise cash.
