Is not just me, there are thousands of people wondering which are the best ways to monetize a website.
Is it affiliate marketing? Should we monetize with CPC / CPM advertising networks such as Google AdSense?

AdSense works well on every website when it comes to website monetization however there might be an affiliate program that could bring you $100+ commissions on a pay per sale based system when AdSense pays you only couple bucks per click or even worse.

Adsense is good way to monetize a website. If your not careful, your account can get suspended on Adsense! I believe that's the only disadvantage

I think the best would be the promoted post. And it can earn you some decent earning. And if you notice it carefully it'd be reasonable to make use of the monetized post. And you don't have to worry because most of the sponsored post need to be paid upfront. And that is another reason I guess for many of us you can make use of the monetization options. I personally think that banner ads and affiliate ads can be used despite the adblocker issues.

Your response is a bit opaque and I barely understand the subject of your response. Could you explain further the meaning of promoted post or whatever it is? As I am starting my blog and currently looking for effective ways to monetize my website. I am gonna try your suggestions since I guess you are a professional person and know lots of things, especially monetization.

Earning money online is still enigmatic, but I am starting to get the hang of it and as I said I am looking for the best possible ways to earn money online.

What are the best ways to monetize a website?I had a blog,on that I have tried out Popads,Popcash,Bidvertiser...Best of them was Popads...I tried out Popads, because minimum payout is $5,but it is difficult to reach even this minimum payout,if you don't have a movie site with thousands of visitors everyday or some downloadable things on your site...

There's only Google AdSense I can think of. Let's wait and see for others to respond. I am in need of this info to. Think you for starting the thread.

thanks for sharing this with us, and I think heard about all the monetising systems before, will apply when I will make my own website.

From my research I think Google AdSense is the best. With AdSense you don't need to sell to make money, just clicks from the site users would make one money and you don't need to market their products but your blog for good organic traffic.

If you could do both then you will earn more. People don't actually care about about how many ads you have on your page but they are after your content. having both will maximize your earning potential. Still your earning will always depend on your traffic. For new websites you can always start with affiliate marketing because it is easy to register on websites that offer that. I think it's a bit harder to earn on that but if you do you will earn money. Just make sure that your affiliate products will match your viewers demographics. Example is that if your article is something about motherhood you can put Products related to child dresses and others.

Promoted post means let's say you have a product. You have say torch or some powerbank as product. And you want to get traffic to your store. And in such case you want me to write article. And in exchange you to pay me few money. that's the sponsored post. it's same as some tv show showing the commercial of some produc.t but in case of blog that is producct promo post. so it is kind of indirect deal which is not mentioned on blog to avoid google penalty.

One of the most important thing is when you place ads on your blog and you want to pay for advertising at different ad networks, never mention in your ad title"click on the ads".I think it is logical that everybody knows, that's not a good thing doing this way advertising, but I have seen many people doing this and putting to risk their blog.

The best way to monetize a website will depends on what you focus on. There are website owners earns in adsense, some in affiliate programs, and others by selling their own digital products or services. I think website is only one tool of leading people to what you really offer that could give you income. If you have many subscribers in your email list, and you are selling something, your website can be used to create content that will entice people to purchase your products. Your subscribers can be converted to potential customers if you provide them with valuable contents regularly.

I think it is better if you have some writing skills,to search a little bit around online, which thing is trendy or it is in demand and if you know what is it all about, you can try to write an ebook, and sell it on your website.Maybe it will take up a lot of time, but you can give it a try.Maybe you will have success.

You can also use those sites that will give your links with ads. It is a bit slow to earn through this and your viewers might get irritated with the ads but this will give you some extra cash. I received a feedback that the ads contained on the link is asking them to download some files that is very irritating. So you should choose wisely which Link shortener with ads should you choose. On my channel I also put a note on how can they skip the ad on my link to save them time.

Natural traffic is the best way, and that too with interested viewers. However if you output for paid views, then you will have to choose different option but not Google Adsense type of ads.

Yes,I think all the webmasters, who are lucky to have their websites in the top positions of Google search, have I think Google Adsense ads placed on there sites, because this is the right way to earn a ton of cash with Google Adsense. With paid traffic there are many risks to have Google Adsense on your site.

Advertising your site in other way would be better than inviting paid views, as google is aware of the traffic source. Many sites advertise in Google itself, and we can advertise in their sites, if they allow other ads. This way our ad can show in first list, and interested people might visit there.

Yes,you are right. There are people who own a website and make more than $1000 per month with Google Adsense, and there are webmasters ,who make a lot of cash from Amazon or similar sites.I tthink they know very well, where to advertise their websites, because for these it is needed the site with the products to be advertised on places, where many persons are willing to spend money and buying products online.

I tried some affiliate programs, but none of them worked, some even become scam. Now I do not want any affiliate, but allow my own affiliate/hired ads with adsense.
