I am also searching for passive income online, Can you suggest some ways to earn? I like to try blogging but I think it is hard
You are totally right. If you want to have passive income online, blogging is not fit for this purpose.Blogging requires hard work, struggle and much much time(from months to years). And you can't be even sure if you invest all the time and energy(maybe cash too)in blogging, your work will will be rewarded eventually.

Findings something that would give me passive income would be so wonderful. I think YouTube would be the way to go.
Yes,you may earn pretty sum from Youtube. But I don't think that you can have passive income from Youtube without doing nothing.Well,if you upload a video on Youtube, that will be very interesting to people ,that will bring passive income to you through many months...

I noticed a lot of the suggestions is blogging/vblogging. I've done blogging before and had an adsense account but I gave up. It's hard. It's hard to have a lot of readers. Yes famous people or celebrities, for them it would be easy. (Like these days a lot of popular personalities are doing vblog) But it may depend on you if it's really your passion you're going to enjoy it. Still looking for a passive income that may include physical activity for, not just staying at home..

To earn passive income you should go for marketing . Promote clickbank products.
There is another way but it includes some investment. Crypto trading is one of best way to earn passive income but it is kind of risky.

Over the years I have learned that article writing seems to be the only options I have for the passive income. And I work with some of the sites where I earn some decent income. Based on that part. I'd say you should try mostly the content making options. And it can bring you some good earning. Though this may take a while for making some serious money. But in due process you can earn from it. So find out how you can make some good money frm content creation.

Totally agree. To make some serious money(I wouldn't say though it is a passive income, because to write a good article requires serious work and time) it is the best decision to write articles. But to receive this type of tasks you have to be somewhat well known...

It depends on how much or how little you are willing to make at first. You can get started today with something like Swagbucks, InstaGC, PerkTV, or other places that pay money for watching ads on a mobile device or PC, doing surveys, and stuff like that. If you only need an extra $50 or $75 a month, then that surely qualifies and can get you that. Is it the most efficient use of your time? No. Will it work and give you something? Yes. They have prepaid gift cards from stores to visa cards that can help cut monthly expenses, even if they don't give you outright cash if you don't have a paypal account for some reason.

Selling items or goods on Craigslist and some of the mobile sites that have been starting to appear on the Google Play Store for Android is another way to help you make passive money online. Even if there aren't things you want to sell or have to sell on there, you can offer to list and sell things for other people and make a percentage of it if it sells. The buyer would be paying you for the item, so the person who lists it would have to trust you enough to hold on to it to complete the sale. But since that money goes to you first? You will always be paid your percentage immediately, and can give the person you sell items for the difference you agreed upon. You don't have to tell them where you are selling it, just that you will list it on multiple sites and avenues for sale to get it sold. If it doesn't sell, then there is no fee. That is a really popular offer to someone wanting to make money on selling something but not have to pay a listing fee up front. So you have that opportunity and possibility right there.

Another way to make money is as a personal assistant. There are people who make a lot of money daily, but the interactions, communications, and organization they need requires 4 hands or more to where it becomes overwhelming for them. You can meet their needs by helping them with all of that, and they can pay you to do it when they are too busy to be able to do that for themselves. It can be anything from answering phone calls to responding to emails, or managing something for them during the day that is easy to watch over, but would be impossible for them to do otherwise.

If you are good at helping others with their computer needs, then you will find that using things like TeamViewer or LogMeIn to remotely connect and remove spyware for others can be extremely lucrative, especially if you do it on a global scale. The only thing required for this is to have a working internet connection, and a computer that you can use to connect to theirs to fix things. You can bill them through paypal or any other merchant that you have at your disposal. After the first month or two, you may have to register it for business use rather than personal, since it is only free for personal use. They know that some people may use thier services to start a business, and so they are pretty understanding about that and will let you use it for free to get something started as long as you're willing to pay for it later to make it worth their while, too.

Graphic design and web development. It's very saturated now. Very. You can still make money with it even still.

Mobile development. If you are a programmer, you can make a nice amount of money developing unique mobile applications for businesses that need them.

Advertising. If you see a local business that needs advertising and you know that you can help them and you're able to prove it, there can be money in that for you by reaching them online and showing them what you can do to improve their online and offline business by having you at the helm.

Subtitling videos is another way to make money. Computers have come a long way and are very good with relational databases, but computers are still no match for the intuition and common sense of the human being. There is a need for people to know and see what the computers cannot! You can label and tag things that a provider needs and make it so that their videos have audio subtitles as they need them. Closed captioning for TV shows and movies are often done this way. You can do it directly, or you can work for a large company that guarantees you video work like Rev.com. To add to this, you can occasionally do transcription or other types of captioning to make money between this.

These are just a few ways that you can make passive money online when you want to. The only time you have to dedicate yourself to anything is when you confirm and commit to any one project. Other than that, you're free to do any or all of these whenever you like. :) I hope this helps you!
Wow! This is a very intensive response! True graphic design and web development is quite saturated these days. You need to have quality output to get a job on that. But, I think the demand is still high.
One thing that struck me is removing Spyware (or malware for that matter) remotely could be lucrative too. This is one thing I can say I am really good at.
Thanks for this.

By passive income, you mean you set things up then let it run in autopilot (or something like that).
Still you may need to work on it to get it started.
I have a few things in mind, which I am trying to do myself.
1. Ebook writing - if you love to write, you can write about something you love to do. Write about your hobbies like recipes if you love to cook, photography tips, etc...
Later on you can hire writers to write for you. You may need to hire one writer per chapter if you have to. You may even start as a writer for someone else.

2. Niche Blogging - you can do this along with ebook writing or other passive income source you and others can come up with. Again you write about the things you love to do.

3. If you are a graphic artist, you can offer your services online through sites like Fiverr. Or you could create tee shirt designs on sites like teespring.com. Again after a while you can artists to do the works for you if you really want passive income.
3. Affiliate marketing. You may need a blog on this or simply use your social network. Sign up to Amazon.com or lazada.com or other sites and apps that would let you sell their products without investing.
4. Invest in the stock market. I don't know where you are from, but if you are from the Philippines you can invest on the stock market through colfinancial.com and I learned to invest through the quidance of Truly Rich Club (paid subscription required).

I know by now you have read a lot of information on how to earn. If you get confused, ask yourself "what do I love really love to do"? The answer to that is your niche and your core gift. Start from there.
Good luck.

Very good, detailed article. But all the listed things need very much time and hard work.Writing an ebook? The internet is full of ebooks, they even give it free.Niche blogging can take up years till you get some serious success(if you get).Earning from Amazon is not that easy too...Everywhere is work and time needed...But who knows, there are people who have skills and may have success on the sites from the list.

True the first two or three years, you really need to work on these. Creating, promoting and stuff. So need to mix up your long term goals with short term goals to cover your daily needs. It's not easy and it is Going to take a lot of patience.

Online marketing is a good way, just requires a little extra cash, lots of time invested, and patience.
Have to treat it like a real job. Youtube is another good one but like someone mentioned it takes time to get subscribers and views, once again patience is important.

I think you can earn passive income by various methods like blogging, vlogging, affiliate marketing and royality through your written books. But they should have lots of subscribers, viewers and followers.

It is awesome to earn every month a nice couple of hundreds or even thousands of dollars every month from your blogs or websites.I though don't think, that this way of earning can be named a passive income.Behind this blogs or websites it is a lot of hard work and struggle.Even after several of years of work, when you achieved success, your work continues,to keep your blogs or websites on top.

If I should I take passive income as income made after much work and sacrifice has been made to set a way to make money flow while you are at rest. Then the passive income ways are through book publishing, blogging, affiliate marketing and app developing. These line of business keeps bringing in money to you for a very long time repeatedly.

Yes,I have seen online some books with big success. When you think about it,how many ebooks are online right now and some of them are offered even for free, you will know, that your book must be unique, original,to offer something different. After creating your book, you must to find a way to advertise your ebook.

You have to create useful videos that attract a lot of viewers. I have a friend who makes a video about child care, and is watched by a lot of people. Make your own videos, do not copy others. Because youtube is very focused on copyright issues.
