Hello Friends ,

am into self learning which I decided to study computer science online , I want a platform that guides me where to start and where to end as if am in college ?

i applied at treehouse but its kida confusing where to start and what to take first .

I just need a full guide ..

You can study this as a course in the University or better still if you think you want to learn some basics online. You can start by watching some YouTube videos and from there take some paid courses on Lynda and udemy to further advance your knowledge
Yeah mate, there several online courses available on YouTube for absolutely free, and it can really be a good start for learning computer science in depth.

Depends on what you actually want to learn. If you are looking for computer science in general, you will have to look for online of offline school with a degree course. However, if you are looking for short term courses. you can try Udemy. Udemy offers 4-8 weeks courses on web designing, networking, programing, and all sorts of courses related to computer science and technology.
But there are many free courses also which can give nearly same knowledge as the paid ones then first we should learn from free courses and if our interest is there, then we can go with paid ones.

There are online courses one can take from reliable sources like the likes of udemy, or one can take to YouTube to watch video tutorials in order to improve ones skills

For me the best platform is byt far from khan academy because is all free and interactive. You can easy learn some basic stuff and if you want you can learn more also free. You can study and work on that platform.

If you are interested in learning new skills online, like computer science you might want to go for the paid courses on Udemy, Coursera, Khan academy and the likes. You will get more value from paid courses more than the free ones. But if you still want to go with free you can make use of Alisson or YouTube.

Udemy is the best platform to teach you on computer sciences. You can choose from different people courses on different prices. Some are outdated, another are good. If you have wish, surely you can learn it.. You must start from examples on html, css,c++ and upgrade your knowledge slower but surely.

The best is to just enroll in a good university that offer such curriculum in that field. You can learn online, though I doubt it would be sufficient since we are talking about computer science here, not just learning programming online like the most of the programmers do.

I came across this site, FreeCodeCamp a few years ago, and it looks good. You can check out their map as they lay out the whole map / course structure nicely. Well, but I didn't try it out though I wanted to. You can try and see if you like it, since it's free.

Another good site I have always heard is Codecademy. You can check it out too.
This suggestion Upto now is still quite valuable,i have heard quite a lot of good reviews about freecodecamp and a lot of people have landed good jobs as a result of this such a highly recommended platform for computer science.

I do not understand which aspect of computer science you are trying to learn because there are so many aspects of it. I will advise that you should choose a particular one like web development where you can be able to meet a lot of courses on YouTube that can teach you things like this. Coursera has a course about degree in computer science course it is very expensive.
