I'm interested in learning more about marketing and obtain some promoting skills. Are there any tutorials/courses/lessons for beginners online and what's the best option? Has anybody tried some of those websites and what is the price to take such course?

I learned most of the marketing strategies I know today through tutorials on YouTube. You can research on YouTube using the keywords and you either download them or you watch it online to acquiant yourself with it.

There's a tutirial site called macaranta tutors, you could signup with them to learn more abiut marketing skills.

You can also read blogs on marketing skills and promotion to get .more information about the your needed skills

There is tons of information around which you can get for free just by googling and youtube. Rather than spending out on courses maybe use the money to try out things yourself. If you consider it learning money rather than an investment that way if things dont go well you put it down to a lesson rather than a failed investment. You are likely to learn more by doing than reading tbh.

I clever way to get maximum benefit is start a project lets say CPA and write a journey (check out journeys on here) or start a blog. That way you can get feedback to help with the learning and possibly monetise your blog.

Find out the affiliate networks. And then check their blogs. Those are the places to find out about tips and tricks. You can also find out how to do affiliate promotion using the amaozn's education center for affiliates. so there are lot of things being disccussed. and plenty of things to be learned as well. so i suggest learning from suhc resources. you can surely benefit from the blogs in this industry. try to find out "affiliate tips" in the google and learn from this.

The best place is the internet. YouTube, media, Search engines, and finally your here.. beer money forum. You'll find lots of great useful tips about Affilate Marketing in this section

Marketing can be Learned from Facebook thee are a lot of marketers on Facebook and if one is fast enough can learn from those strategies used by renounced marketers, one can adopt them and modified them to suit what he or she needs to succeed with the marketing.

you can try to search in youtube, there so many tutorials in youtube you just need to have long patients to find the best tutorial for marketing strategy. try to look for different strategies so you have a choice and try to make your own one.

If you want to start a successful marketing,I think you should take some courses. There are many paid or unpaid courses. If someone can take paid courses,it is a good thing, because knowing the fact, that he has paid for the course,he will take it more seriously, and focusing more on learning.

There are many online courses, some of them are free, where you can learn everything about digital marketing. There are some free courses, which you can take at Udemy, which is a famous educational marketplace.

I learnt about affiliate marketing from an online platforms where I bought the e-book I read through I found it very interesting cos it is reasonably practical but the mindest that it is easier said than done scared me from giving it a shot

the places where you can enjoy marketing can include :-
shoutmeloud
neilpatel.com
courses from skillshare ( they sometimes have 0.99$ coupon )
and numerous other free courses available on internet as well
hope that helps

I think enrolling online to some companies would be a great choice because you would not anymore to go for a certain place. You can do it at your convenience in your own home and it is now becoming a trend in the web.

Okay some great replies in this thread. YouTube is a phenomenal resource when learning about internet marketing. No need to pay for courses either, as many courses out there give you the same information that is freely available online.

Some other great places to learn from are the Warrior Forum and Digital Point Forum.

A little word of advice though; just get caught up in all that is out there. There are so many ways to make money online, but it's best to stick to one method and make that successful. Don't jump around from opportunity to opportunity, otherwise someday you'll look back and realized you've done nothing but waste your time.

You are right about it,Youtube is a great source to learn about marketing. You said to focus on one thing and not to jump from opportunity to opportunity, but you must agree you better have more eggs in different baskets, because things are changing and you cannot rely on only one earning opportunity.I know, because I have been there.

@tusziget , while your statement holds true, the point was stay with one item until you have reached your goal for it before spreading out to a different opportunity. Many give up or move on too early and never realize the potential of the opportunity they are currently working in.

Even better is to find an opportunity that compliments your current one, such as building an email list so that down the road you can incorporate email marketing into your YouTube marketing, etc. Email marketing is one item that I promise you is not going away, and it's been there since the early stages of the internet. Many say it's dead but I assure you it's not, yet many ignore this.

I agree also that YouTube is a great place for leanings which is really undeniable. Many people learned new ideas just by browsing at YouTube. I believe that it is really good to focus one by one to a certain site to really achieve our goal before prompting to go to the other site because there is no shortcut for success.

I just stumbled on these marketing sites khan academy and learn vest.com where one can learn some marketing strategies like content and video marketing strategies. you could check them.out

There are a lot of online resources from youtube, blogs, I especially reccomend forums and reddit dedicated section.

People also say/praise that Lynda.com is awesome, but I have no idea since it is not free.

Yes,you might be right about it.If it is potential in one opportunity, then you can spend more time on the project, accumulating more experience and if it going well, you can grow it to a successful business.
