Hi everyone!
What are the best niches for starting a successful and profitable YouTube channel?
I'm thinking about gaming videos, product unboxing and reviews, lifehacks and kitchen hacks.

I am too in the same boat to find best niches, but my success was with tutorials related MS Office, Currently I have to look another market and still don't know how to create video clips or re modify them.

Do you have any solution of modifying game playing video clips without ban from Youtube? Any application suggestions for me?

Well, I think, since these are mostly what I watch, these are the best niches:

1. Entertainment Videos (Music, Comedy, Parody)

2. Beauty Videos

3. Lifestyle Videos

4. Family Videos

5. Cartoon or Nursery Rhymes (my son watches them and they have a lot of views)

6. Toy Reviews (again, for my son)

7. Video Game Reviews

Unboxing and reviews are good places to start, and anything entertainment related is solid. If you have any pets just videotaping them can get you a ton of hits, as well, so long as they do something unusual and / or stupid.

Video gaming is a good niche, but it's also incredibly crowded. If you want to go that direction I'd suggest taking a really good, really long look at the competition and trying to brew up something with either really good production values or a really original angle. This is a good thing to do for any niche, mind, but... lord are there a lot of gaming channels...

Do they won't come under copyright? As far what I knew entertainment videos are almost under copyright action. My dog already died few years back, so no pets until now. Do you know any method we can make videos on Pets?

do I need to edit them using Video editor?

I just want to make some good cash from YouTube videos, Presently my channel is about Traveling and they don't get many views in a month.

Another good niche for YouTube is iPhone tutorials, review iPhone apps, iPhone games, iPhone tips, iPhone tricks, related stuff etc to iPhone, I'm seriously thinking starting a channel on this niche since I've bought my own iPhone 6s last month. :cool:

Yeah, I think video gaming channels are way too many as well as beauty channels. But if you are really good at what you do, you will succeed. Like this one beauty or makeup guru I know, she was not known just last, last year. She has little views and little subscribers. I was surprised one day when my sister was watching her video and I peeked at it and she has over a million subscribers already! I think it can also help if you're down to earth and very relatable to people. If you're a little quirky, they will like you too. The main thing is you'd need to be talented in what you do as well.

You given a nice idea, but currently I don't have an iPhone neither willing to buy it and the reviews or trick can be made if we have a product. Any easiest channel that we can edit videos from Internet and reuse them.

I will give a try to make a channel on Iphone games or tips as it is one of the easiest method to make videos.

Anyone using other people's copyrighted videos and willing to enable Adsense to earn money on their channel will receive copyright strike and also from many flags the channel will be banned by YouTube.

That is true information, channel will get ban including Adsense account. What I thought is edit the video and make it mix with some other videos, but all these things take time. The best way to make a video is by ourselves.
I just searched in YouTube about latest Iphone games and got this top result. These type of videos can be made easily, giving some effort is really make sense for us.

Thanks Daniel, I read here in the past, but I am afraid of using that Creative commons license videos, that is the reason for confirming. I will be making some of the videos in the upcoming days to have more fun.
I may start tomorrow to have some great videos and let you know how it goes. Thanks again for making a tutorial on remixing videos.

NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE on the internet that knows about a hot niche is going to GIVE that information to you for FREE. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Each any every niche mentioned in this thread is so over-saturated that you would be wasting your time trying to carve a part of it out for yourself unless you have the money and backing of a content farm like Huffington or Jezebel.

You want to find a hot niche? You are going to have to either do your own research focusing on new products that are projected to go viral or your going to have to pay someone to do it for you. You will not find them on forums like these.

These forums are good places to share general information about making money on the internet but hot niches are few and far between and closely guarded by those who know about them.

As other people have already said, all the so called best niches are already being used, and if your looking at a gaming channel for example, just look at the amount of competition your going to be up against and you'll soon realise that as a new channel, you don't stand much of a chance of making an impact.

What you can try and do though is put your own unique twist on a subject, something that will get people's attention. Even if the market you decide on is over saturated, find a way of doing it but doing it differently. People like uniqueness.

For me I think entertainment, news,gossips and fashion would make a kill and can go viral easily.

The same way these niches do well with blogging I think it can with vlogging.Get to have the news first and published it along a video and boom it goes viral and you make your money.

I will be starting mine soon and I will love to dwell on any of this.I think it a fast way of getting known and also making money.

You can create videos which is about how to make money online. If you have a good voice, you can do song covers. Unboxing products is also a good niche.

Yes,you are totally right.Nobody will give you totally hot tips,how to make a lot of money.You ahve to do your own research,study the market,You have to try it out everything(be prepared to spend a lot of time and effort) to see for yourself what works best for you...

I think the best niche is what you love to do..i love watching youtube and i love pinterest from that i keep noted those kitchen hacks anything that interest me...i never thought before you can get earn money to make videos, interesting...post here your YouTube channel if you created already.
