Will love us to share marketing strategies we have used in the past that have worked for us so that everyone will learn.

Personally am currently thinking of creating a website/blog and funding few months campaign where users can earn by liking/commenting but I don't think i will be able to fund this campaign forever and am worried users might leave once campaign ends.

Will love to here experiences and what you guys think.

Incentivized worked for me at my second website saversbox.com. What I do is I share 50% of my affiliate commission with anyone who pays for a product through the site, and also pay $25 to anyone who makes $1000 from his blog through an ad network from the site. I got lots of people with this. For example in one website called Bitsler, I got up to 79 referrals and made 0.08 BTC. So incentivized is a great way to market.

In fact all most all Online Businesses are doing it, from my observation. When you go to an buy something from many sites, you will see big priced cancelled and new cheaper price shown for a limited amount of time. That is incentive. It's on all e commerce online shops, and even on SAAS products.

Also many websites are offering coupon incentives, and almost all will reduce the price if you purchase yearly instead of monthly. All those things are incentives. I have hardly seen a business online, that is not using incentive including Facebook. Even affiliate programs, referral programs that companies put up, are all incentives (incentivized marketing) and they grow faster. Cheers bling bling :Hilarious::Hilarious:

Thanks for the detailed explanation, i have some questions
Paying users commission if they use your affliate link, is this not against the rule?
I know it depends on alot of factors, but how well do you think short term Incentivized marketing will work for a news site?

Im glad you like it.
Yes. Some websites have rules in their affiliate TOS (Terms of Service) that you should not use incentivized marketing. An example of this is SEMRUSH. But there are also many of them that allow you to promote any way you like.

Here are the three types of affiliate marketing rules I have seen since I have been going through many products and services.
1. The ones that are so strict. They don't allow incentives, and they also want you to make it very clear to your audience that you will be getting commission from them.
2. The ones that are not so strict. They don't care if you use incentive. It is not their business what you do with your commission. But they DON'T WANT YOU TO SPAM people. You can promote in all legit ways but do not spam people by sending unwanted emails, etc.

3. The ones that want you to promote any how you want. They don't care how you promote it. They will pay when you get any qualified referral.
So incentivized marketing being against the rule depends on the website you are promoting. They will make it clear in the affiliate TOS.

On the other hand, about how well short term incentivized marketing will work for a new site? To be able to answer that to my best. I would like to know exactly what type of website you have, what you are marketing and what your marketing goal is (exactly what you want people to buy or do).

Am not trying to promote another website/products.
What I meant was that am trying to create and promote a blog/news site by giving users incentives for using my blog/news site but this promotion will be on personal budget and will be for a short term. Do you have any idea how i can pull off this strategy effectively?

Sorry if i created any confusion...

Oh. now I get it very clear :Hilarious:. I have seen a typical news website that was doing exactly that but I can't remember the name. However if you google "Get paid to read news" you may find the website. There's no doubt that the incentive is going to be small.

If you ask me, I will tell you, there is no need for that. Create good content and build your audience. There are lots of blog/news websites doing great without that. You are gonna get spammy non-interested readers by doing that.:Hilarious: . And worst still, when you stop giving the incentives, they will all run away:Hilarious:. That's my perspective. But the choice is yours.

Of course am planning on creating great content but am also planning on doing Incentivized promotion in order to bring the crowd ;)

I think he means promoting his sites/products on different type of ad networks or in different forums, micro job type sites, where people are doing different jobs and getting paid for it.

For me, incentivize works better. It's really hard to gain leads when you are promoting offers directly but locking something with CPA lockers can lead to massive leads if your content is on demand. Visitors have no other choice but to complete an offer before they can access your content.

using social media platforms such as Facebook groups and WhatsApp status is one of the best methods I have used to promote a product and it was very successful. It was free though.

It's very good to use Facebook but the challenge that we had when wanting to grow an audience was that some people you make friends are just something else and can't end up as potential clients. The person recieved quite some harassment and she ended up handling the account to me and only handle offline tasks. So as much as free traffic from Facebook can come in handy it can also be a put off.

The best method which I was using was incentive for one game, where the game was paying like $2.5 per sign up. I remember this was like 5 years ago,but I was generating like $250 weekly for 2 months, which was very good rate for person who was in this time under 18. Now I am trying to do the same, but still not possible.

For incentive campaign nothing works you have to make your product look genuine and group or cross promotion is a better idea to be honest actually in my opinion and that's the way to go to have success in your life and in your business campaigns to be honest in my opinion actually .

There are pros and cons to both incentivized and non-incentivized marketing strategies. Incentivized strategies, such as offering rewards or discounts for signing up or completing an action, can be effective in attracting new users and increasing conversions.
