Hey everyone what do you think are the best things to buy under $1 right now for a short or longer term investment. The only good one I see right now is Ripple.

Cardano (ADA) is at $0.64 at the time I'm writing this post.
This coin has well over $16 billion market cap, it has great potential.

I haven't seen such a fast increase of a cryptocurrency over 1$ for a long time, it might be a good sign. by the way, since you wrote the post it already went up to $0,72

Ripple is a great choice for sure, even now is more that $2, but I remember a couple month's ago it was $0.20 and I was like i want to buy for 100XRP because it was just $20. The reason I believe with ripple is because ripple not come from mining. Plus, I had read articles on most crypto blog about ripple, before people realize how powerful it is for bitcoin.

My suggest is, look into coinmarketcap like above, and find any about them on crypto blog. If you would like my advice, I would choose golem, cardano, digibyte, and vertcoin.

You might be right about it.I have read today in one members post, that the value of the Ripple has got much higher. So,I think it might be a good idea to invest in Ripple, but I didn't see any micro wallet or wallet accepting Ripple.
coinbase is accepting Ripple now,so you can buy and store now in coinbase.I think investing in Ripple is the way to go now considering it rise in value now.

I think Cardano and Ripple are the way forward. It was really cool the way that both weathered the storm over the holiday period when the rest were in the red. I think It may have been that people were looking to get into the space over Christmas and thought everything was expensive, but those two were not. I also think that Ripple being connected to the banking system makes it less prone to wild swings. I can see both hitting record highs through 2018

Here on this topic of where to invest in crypto currencies worth small amounts of cash, I would highly recommend IOTA. The main advantage of this one, is its transaction free policy where you can transfer funds at no cost. And besides its a highly promissing currency in terms of growth this year 2018.

Well stated,I think it a good coin to invest in right away.it might explode just like our dear Bitcoin and people would be making a whole lot of money off it.I throw the chance of making it big with bitcoin but I wouldn't with this, since it progressive.

It is easy to said,to invest and buy some cryptocurrencies. But you need trusted sites or persons, from which you can buy different cryptocurrencies.I would also like to buy some Ripples,as his price is low now,and it might be a good investment for the future.

Cardano has a better growing chart while Ripple has a forced grow. I've read somewhere thar ripple and NEM (XEM) are already used in some japan banks. But still personally i don't trust ripple in long term grow and that's my opinion.
However ripple is not mineable and has a market cap limit and these 2 "qualities" will make ripple to get more expensive in time because can't be created over and over.

Someone recommended me a coin Electroneum , the mobile crypto currency, which can be mined with CPU https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/electroneum/ and it is bellow 1$ and has a market cap limit but it seems they are still working to improve the wallets (security) part so i wouldn't invest right now (not yet), just to watch their progress for a while. But to mine it with CPU and trade it for Bitcoin is great because it is mineable in Cryptonight algorithm , which is one of the most profitable algorithm listed on nicehash for some processors.

Stellar (XLM) has a big community, is not mineable ,and it is 0.76$, had a great grow lately but there is no market cap limit ( i think) so the price growing will be very slow unless the developers are coming with projects, see their schedule.

I think the CPU-mineable coins with a market cap limit have a greater chance to reach fast their cap limit and grow in price because mining with CPU can be made even by a kid with a good CPU ( a CPU with best performance per core and per power vs. AMD and a decent price such as i5-6400) on his computer without spending thousands of dollars for expensive graphic video cards :D Also if a coin is new and has no big difficulty in mining then is a target for mining and trading for bitcoins.

For me, Ripple is like KFC while Bitcoin is like Mcdonalds. It's just that there are more people eating in Mcdonalds. Point is, Ripple is already a big thing like Bitcoin. If what you mean when will 48 billion USD market capitalization of Ripple overtake the 245 billion USD market capitalization of Bitcoin, I think it will happen when thousands of banks use the Ripple technology, maybe after 5 years.

There is no primarily wallet for Ripple. But you can buy and sell Ripple in multi-currency exchanges like CoinPayments.

You can purchase Ripple in different exchanges listed in Ripple website - https://ripple.com/xrp/buy-xrp/

Apologies for the edited post, twitchy computer from different location.

I think the main problem with Ripple is that it is linked into the banking world, so If the governments decide to bring down regulations then coins like Ripple will be the first to get hit as they are connected to the 'real' world.

Well,I didn't know this information about Ripple...So,taking into consideration this,Ripple is not so anonymous,as supposedly other cryptocurrencies are right now.Though Ripple is gaining much popularity nowadays...

same, I have heard about Ripple but didn't know it is so popular.. maybe because everybody's just talking about Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin while Ripple investors are more silent

I have read about Ripple,in some members posts, and they were all positive and as a good investment possibility.I would like more to claim from faucets Ripple, because I am not very familiar in buying cryptocurrencies...

it isn't so hard, you just need the budget to invest and you're good to go  after buying Bitcoin it's not very hard to exchange between currencies

It's not too late to get in on the Ucash website and get some free coins (XUC) , and it gets listed in two days. There is already a countdown timer running on cryptocompare. No Idea of the starting price, but I presume it will be more than the zero amount of your investment :)

After just looking at the chart it seems ripple is heading back down again. Time to buy when It hits $1 maybe ? Cardano is also taking a hit.

Tronix on the other hand doesn't seem to following the rule book (Up 9.34%)

I think you better invest in a new cryptocurrency which is in the ICO phase like "liteconnect" .Now the price of bitconnect is about 420 dollars and liteconnect may surely have the same future .it was made by an australian team and you can start buying tokens in 14 january for anly 0.5 dollar. At the end of the ICO the price gonna rise to 1.25 dollar ( 10 millions tokens to sell and the price keep rising after each million tokens sold ( 0.5/0.55/0.6/0.65/0.75/0.8/0.85/0.95/1.05/1.25) you will also have a bonus of 15% if you buy from the first 1 million tokens.Another amazing thing with this cryptocurrency is that you can earn 5 LTC (liteconnect) just by reffering friends (maybe they gonna stop it after the and of the ICO ).I hope that you join them with my refferal link specially that I have no money to invest

nice one but what are the basic factors to be considered when investing in ICO cos there are just too many coins online of recent and more are still coming, there should a guide to investing in all these icos

PACcoin has explode last few day, rank 61, more then 1000% growth in last 7 days, massive hype (youtube is scream PAC on every corner). So i bought 1.1M few 2 days ago for 100$ today's worth over 250$.

They have big changes in progress after coin burn on March 1 but i don't plan to risk, will use this hype and probably sell it for a month, will track progress ofc.

Hey i mean it's not unreal to hope for 1 penny mark, that would make insane profit.

Check it out, do the math, calculate is it worth of risk and place amount you are ready to lose. No risk = no profit at all.
