Hi, guys!

In case you don't know what is a Bitcoin wallet, well a Bitcoin wallet is like your own online bank account where you can store, send and receive Bitcoins from other people.

These Bitcoin wallets stores your private keys and public keys.
+ With public key you send/receive bitcoins.
+ With private key you access your wallet.

There are 2 big types of Bitcoins wallets:

A. Bitcoin Hot Wallets [connected to the INTERNET] - easy access, less secure

B. Bitcoin Cold Storage Wallets [disconnecd from The INTERNET] - more secure

Now, because you know about these HOT/COLD Bitcoin Wallets there are 4 types of Bitcoin wallets:

1. Bitcoin Software Wallets - available for desktop and mobile devices, you must download a software client to create the actual bitcoin wallet. For this check out: BitcoinCore, MultiBit, Armory, MyCelium, Copay
2. Bitcoin Online Wallets - also know as Bitcoin Web Wallets, they are the easiest to deal with and after you create your wallet you can have access from any device that is connected to the INTERNET. Due to it's easy handle these wallets are not so secure in front of hackers.
3. Bitcoin Paper Wallets - this is Bitcoin Cold Storage and consist of printing out your private and public keys on actual paper. This is more secure but if you lost the paper you dead. For this check out: BitAddress, BitcoinPaperWallet
4. Bitcoin Hardware Wallets - this is basically a USB that once plugged in your computer will deal with every day Bitcoin transactions. For this check out: TREZOR and Ledger wallet.

What Bitcoin wallet do I recommend?

If you deal with low amounts of Bitcoins and receive or send bitcoins every other day, Bitcoin Online Wallets are great for you, if you want to store a good amount of Bitcoins in a safe place go for Bitcoin Hardware Wallet.

What Bitcoin wallet do you use and what's your opinion regarding some bitcoins wallets?

Hi there,

which is the best bitcoin wallet do you guys use?
Do you just have it physically printed out, do you use some online services or do you use one of the physical encrypted hardware solutions such as Keepkey or TREZOR?

You can use Coinbase, Xapo and other Bitcoin wallets available there. But I am using coins.ph but it was only available in our country. There might be a version of it on other countries. I only use coins.ph because it is easy to use and they offer other services.

I use to coins.ph too because maybe we can use it too buy load here in our country with rebates and there are lots of cashout options that we can choose. But sometimes i used xapo too i just don't feel keeping my bitcoins on one wallet.

You are from Philippines too! I want to use Xapo but someone advised me it's not as good as others. I will ask my friend which wallet works better otger than coins.ph. They also told ne about offline waplet.

I am talking about online wallets:
blockchain.info as online wallet is the most known and most used worldwide. You can adjust your fee for sending bitcoin at a very cheap rate specially when the network is not loaded with pending transactions. Blockchain doesn't need your ID photo to verify your account.
You can't sell or buy bitcoin directly from blockchain unless you are on Android and EU user in SEPA space. You will need to send btc to sell to your exchange account.

Coinbase in it's history had some blackouts ,also it might not be avalaible to sell and buy btc in some countries.

XAPO sucks, if you don't send lots of bitcoin (big amounts) then your balance will get drained by the very high fees when you send small amounts . Read XAPO fees policy before sending bitcoin and using this website.
I will never use xapo.
Coinbase and xapo from my knowledge needs photos/proofs of your ID or from bills with your names to verify the acount for selling/buying bitcoin.
Other new wallets online with new names or new launched are not trusted for me.

Im using coinbase, blockchain and coins.ph. Im also using microwallets for all my faucets. But my main btc wallet is coins.ph because I can cashout my earnings to local currency.

Don't use Xapo please, I can login to my account but every thing I send to its address have disappeared, I don't have that many coins in it, but it's enough to discard them as a legitimate wallet, I use Coinbase, they're OK for now, the down side of this wallet is they will ban you if they find any suspicious activity without warning you.

Banning someone without giving his money back/ possibility to withdraw/move funds it is called scamming . I'm glad that i don't use coinbase = less worries to get banned even without reasons.

Long live Blockchain. :D

The cryptocurrency revolution is great, but the execution is poor, the minds behind it backed down to let speculators take over. I'll take the pill and step into the matrix regardless.

It is available for asian users. And they seem to have insurance on the data backup side. It seems like BTC buying selling is disabled for the coinbase. In my account it shows no option of that. And it says not available feature in your country. I have found that similar other apps are doing that. It seems local selling buying is not supported in US based apps if one is from another country.

Probably blockchain is the best. Reliable, secure, good. Now,problem is fee that he takes for transaction,so,if you transfer less than 1$,fee will eat your money. But,if you are working with large amount of money, that's the place.I use blockchain often, coinbase not that often,so,i guess my wallet is blockchain.Fee is a problem ,but, you know the line, pay more and be secure.

There are a lot of wallet, you can use xapo, mycellium, blockchain and coinbase to store your bitcoin

I may have to sign up to some of the safe wallet which is local. I am on coinbase and realized that I need to find local to Indian wallet. The reason being they keep eye on the local currencies and allow you to sell. so that's something one has to look for. Local currencies at some time are better than bitcoin for sure.

If we have to compare between blockchain and coinbase which is the better option? I have coinbase and unocoin for me right now. I mostly use coinbase. So just speculating which is a good option for me. Also trying to find out if I can use blockchain without having to worry about account ban or removal of service or backup like feature? I think coinbase has that not sure if blockchain has some of those features.

I use bitcoin software wallet.they are easier to obtain than the hardware wallet. I heard they are expensive to get (hardware wallets) how true is that?

I am currently using Coinbase and has no issues but keep in mind this can change and they have had issues in the past.
Have not heard of a perfect wallet yet but Coinbase has served many well this far.

The problem is you can't buy or sell in South Africa but you can still send and receive, not 100% sure about other countries though.

I make deposits from CoinPot and a few other faucets and have shared some proof of payment here. Still more to come for 3 more Coinpot faucets (Moon Bitcoin, Moon Litecoin and Moon Dogecoin).

Blockchain is probably your best and safest bet at the moment but I never put all my crypto in one basket

Trade wisely.

How do you withdraw your funds in blockchain? Do you send it to your coins.ph account? How are the fees? I'm thinking of using blockchain for the meantime since my coins.ph account got hacked and until now my reactivation request is still ongoing.
