Banks should be able to eradicate scam.

The huge number of financial transactions are either started somewhere like crypto currency or in the bank but all ended in the bank for a swap to individuals local currency. It is on this note that I believe all those involved in scamming people have bank accounts that can be tracked or frozen eventually. I believe if banks during account opening ensure they follow up to the customer's provided address and verify it and also require each person comes with a guarantor should the customer involved in a scandal. I believe with this every one will conscientize his mindset and think twice before committing scam.

How can you know if they are scammers? Like you said, banks are not tracking from where people get their money are, and there are many ways to obscure that trace, it;s impossible to differentiate a regular user from scammer.

I think some of these domestic scammers can be traced when the victims report and give the details of account numbers that they send the money, the anti graft agency in my country are trying in this regard.

the victims report and give the details of account numbers

If the scammer uses crypto then this method is unuseable, infact, even with fiat money there's a way to make their transaction history untraceable. For bitcoin use crypto, for fiat send the fund to multiple other banks.

When it comes to online scams, specifically HYIPs I would assume that very, very few people ever report anything to anyone.
Generally speaking the money involved is not enough for people to report. When I loose a buck or two in HYIP I just leave it.

Some banks do so when registering with them , they will have to take all the information they need including the address , I guess most bank still do so even the one am using
Where I live someone stole someone cash , but it was later retrieved by the bank.

My friend had an experience like this and there was little or nothing the bank could do with it... Hackers are becoming very smart and fearless these days and once the stolen money has been converted into crypto currencies I doubt banks would be able trace them

Of course there's nothing banks can do in this situation. In fact, the duty to trace cybercriminals' digital footprints are for specialized law enforcement units, not banks.

I believed the method stated by the poster can work because the economic and financial crimes commission in my country are using similar strategy to nab those involved in scaming people online and they recover huge amount from them including properties. Scams are making online business unsafe , they need to be curbed.
If only the economic and financial crime commission can totally do their job very well and nab the top politicians involved in alleged bribery and coruption, then the country will be a better place

"Money can do almost everything on earth" this challenge has been what makes the financial crime agencies duties to be less effective or limited. When politicians or criminals offer them bribery and it become difficult to reject them.

The bank cannot track an stop scarmers because they cant prove any customers to be fake..they only carry out money tansaction only when an individual is reported as scarm before the bank can trace
I strongly beleived that there is an agency that can monitor activity of scammers in any financial institution, this agency are the one to track and detect any activity that seems to be fruadulent, majority of scammers carriedout their activity online

banks always asking for the source of money if it's big but when you say it's from crypto they can't really trace it out, this is why we see wallets now and other cryptocurrencies require KYC and your real informations just to follow what you are doing

This is to show that Crypto currencies can't have total anonymity because criminals are much so KYC is same as bank verification except some people still produce fake documents for KYC.

There are a lot people working in the bank giving out information to scammers, I've seen a lot of cases of fraud like that, it's best to just be careful when it comes to money issues especially when dealing with people online

The multilayer security will be a wonderful approach to curbing online scams, in my country there is usually high security when you are recieving or withdrawing $3000 and above . If 2FA and other authentication measures can be applied it will be great.

If not robots it will be very difficult to control or eradicate crimes because as humans temptation can be high because money is essential. Most crime are facilitated by bankers themselves.

Nah, most crimes are done by low-level criminals like selling drug or black market illegal guns.

Even robots are not immune since criminals can simply bribe the programmer who set the command for those robots.
To bribe the programmer involved will surely be a very difficult task for both the criminals and the programmer because the programmer has his and company integrity as stake. Common, did you think companies into sensitive robot programming are littered every where that can't be tracked?
When I say bankers are mostly involved in bank related scams, I said it base on the experience in my country it may not be in yours.

I have seen situation of where banks trace and catch those scammers , but its pretty hard now as those scammers are now using different payment mode like pe,pm , btc

I agree with you because most of these robots will be purchased by few companies and they always demand for warranty certificate and they are very expensive so any complications will be traced bank to the company of purchase and legal action will be filed against them. We need to believe in possibility not always seeing the negatives.
