News as seen at Cointelegraph has reveal that at a Paris Europlace financial conference today, Bank of France governor Francois Villeroy de Galhau has said that Europe do not have much time left to regulate cryptocurrency ,less it will lead to devaluation of their Fiat currency , Euro.

EURO is among the strongest currency in the world and there is concern over the effect of cryptocurrency on the strength of the Fiat currency.

could this proposed regulation affect cryptocurrency in general ?

These are possible factors that could affect the acceptance of crypto currency , because some countries will not allow bitcoin to surpass its own currency , i think it might affect the crypto market because many investors would see the market as been uncertain

well my French is not that great but as far as I understood this statement, he calls for regulation to build a legal foundation for crypto currency based products. This is not a call for ban. Therefore for me this is a positive signal towards other members of the Euro currency countries

It is not a call for ban but regulation indeed and I think I quite agree with him on this stand. I hope that they look into it

I am wondering is there a limit to time when it comes to cryptocurrency, until you start you don't know what you can achieve,I wonder the basis at which they arrive at such conclusion.

This could definitely affect the crypto in general because that is a word of discouragement from that government which may have effect on investors to have a doubt in investing in crypto currency

If they propose a strict regulation against crypto in Europe region, then may be crypto price will see a fall. Though, I don't think this will affect crypto long term.

Though I believe that the country that still accepted cryptocurrency are many but yet some statement like this from countries can still affect bitcoin in one way or the other.

Definitely, this is one reason for the bsns we are experiencing now by different countries especially the African countries. The want their local currency to still be on top of things.

That's just a bad idea if African countries do not know.. After even depriving the existence of crypto currency what value has it added to their currency. Their Fiat currency still can't be compared with dollars and euro

think in Africa countries , some are mostly just ignoring and banning the use , because they see that existence of crypto could reduce the revenue the banks are making

I believe they are just having different reasons why the think they shouldn't be usage of crypto in their countries but nottheless, I think the future is still Bitcoin

Yeah despite everything Bitcoin still have a great future ahead, investors that are investing would make more gain through investing in the coin if they are willing to make profit

Well written, this is why we are seeing a lot of more of buying to hold now. People are looking out to making more profit so they are investigating heavily in the coin

Yeah people are investing in what they see as been promising ,Bitcoin price have been moving at a high moment in terms of fall this week ,but now it's back to rising

Adoption of cryptcurrencies may truly cause some effect to the fiat currency. But I don't think it is that bad. After all, people use fiat currencies mostly to buy the cryptcurrencies.

Well for me I have always known how volatile the market is. So I do expect at all times the fall and rise of it. That's just the crypto currency market for you. It's never static
