The contents of the message were confirmed by a bank representative.Alkesh Shah, a founding member of Bank of America's Data & Innovation Strategy Group, will lead the new crypto team. Michael Maras, the bank's global fixed income, currencies, and commodities research head, will be in charge of the unit. In addition to cryptocurrencies, the team will discuss digital currency-related technologies.

I think it's a gradual step ,once the bank start adopting it ,it would be introduced to other sectors and others and the probability of cryptocurrency growing and developing would then be high ,well let's all see how things would play out first since the banks are trying to show their contribution too

I am very optimistic that cryptocurrency has come to stay and the earlier the banks adopt cryptocurrency, the better because they will not want to miss the moving train and they would want to join the bandwagon of modern financial transactions.
