One of the gaming Giants "Atari" have announced that users who have Atari tokens would be able to use it for Gaming, Shopping and Betting. Atari partnered up with "Unikrn" to further accelaterate the integration of its own "Atari Token" . furthermore users will also be able to use the said tokens on the partnered "Unikrn"'s services. Co-founder of Unikrn also stated that Betting will play a major part in the future of e-sports gaming

I think they should widen its usage ,because most people are not fans of gambling and many people might love to use the cryptocurrency ,just hope the CEO does somethi

This is a limitation for most tokens though because it mostly used for some specific sites so Atari isn't an exception but it still that it is useful for gaming etc.

The token is in it's 2nd round of private pre-sale. They are preparing all the behind the scenes prep and finishing up legalities in various countries as this is a global project.

Last word from the team on the Telegram forum was- "The 2nd round is still ongoing. Since liquidity is important, we have announced that we would first try to secure a listing of the Atari Token and then close the round. Our immediate goal is therefore to finalize ongoing conversations with a major exchange and then close that 2nd round. We will give ample notice before the official closing date and provide a clear picture regarding a possible and upcoming listing of the Atari Token."

As noted above- Atari has partnered with Unikrn (Esports, gambling, shopping, etc) for the project as well as other partners. Unikrn has investors such as Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher, Ethereum co-founder Anthony Diiorio, and more.

Interesting to me- Unikrn has partnered with Zed (Animoca). Atari is partnered with Animoca for the virtual world The Sandbox Game which will use the Atari Token, Atari is a small shareholder of Animoca, so I'd expect the Atari Token to show up in Zed virtual horse racing as well. Just waiting on a news release.

Speaking of news releases- Atari is also partnered (but hasn't announced it officially yet) with RobotCache (who is partnered with AMD)- an online store similar to Steam, but also allows you to resell games when you are done playing, as well as mine coin to purchase games.

Lots of good stuff to be announced in the next few months, and live before the end of the year. Very exciting.
