While the Likes of Nigerla, China and few other countries has released their CBDC the Bank of America has revealed that between 2025 and 2030, such a product will be available in the US. CBDCs are "an inevitable progression of today's electronic currencies," according to Bloomberg, citing bank analysts Alkesh Shah and Andrew Moss. Last week, the Federal Reserve released a paper looking at the benefits and drawbacks of a central bank digital currency. It might result in quicker settlements and lower transaction costs, as per report.
What do you make of this kinda long time frame?

The Bank of America is sure taking its time considering the fact that many governments would have expected the country to be at the forefront of creating and releasing its CBDC. Anyways, there are likely some projections in place that has made the adopted time frame the best for them. All that can be done is to wait.

I would have love it if they implement I faster , because what if there was a change of government and the government did not support the creation of the cbdb project that would have been a very issue,so am glad that they have actually planned the creation ,I really do hope it definitely happens because it would contribute more development to the use of digital currency

Long time NAD distant talks but that's how the world is progressing and changing things everything has changed art has become digital , people meet in metaverse , no body has time and love has been cashed out and withdrawal for the money this is what humanity wants lol

I do not think the USA really need any CBDC as their currency is already having strong value in the global economic market.

Most of the CBDC and stable crypto currency coins are usually pegged to the US dollars.

I don't understand why they still need another CBDC.
It doesn't matter whether the currency is strong or not. CBDC is just like the crypto version of a countries native currency just like stable coins to USD. There are a lot of stables in the market on reliable blockchain networks. America may still create a crypto dollar on the blockchain if they desire.

Definitely as it were in flat currency, most countries are trying to introduce digital currency in order to reap the potential benefits of it. China is benefiting a lot from from digital currency, that's the reason cryptocurrency was banned. If the the US introduce there CBDC, they will have a lot to benefit from it.

The United States may not want to embark on this elephant project anymore. The survey carried out has shown that most American citizens are in cryptocurrency trade. With this, citizens may not want any introduction of CBDC. Besides, American government is benefiting in crypto market through its tax.

That's amazing then.

I actually thought they do not need it again as the existing ones are pegged to the USD.

If they get to create their own crypto dollar on the Blockchain, I do not think it would get as much relevance as the already existing stable coins, especially usdt.

Anything can happen though.
Yes it can, the present ones are accused of not having enough liquidity to back them especially USDT. Remember what happened to UST. Aside USDC and busd, others really lack verified liquidity so USA creating theirs will solve that as they'll back it up with enough liquidity needed.

Yeah i think so too. Their currency is already being used for worlds trades I don't really see why they need that.m what's the difference gonna be with Their digital currency and their USD which is available to almost every international wallet like PayPal.. it's kinda the same right

Exactly the type of benefits you can get with a cbdc while for users the control of such money and transactions still remain in the hands of the authorities present at the highest level in terms of rights and leading the country so no privacy which Crypto offers in comparison to it actually .
