As reported by Bitcoin.com, about 10 billion USD worth of Bitcoin is being held as treasuries by multiple companies. The number of companies with crypto treasuries have been steadily increasing as the acceptance and popularity of crypto grow. No less than 23 companies now have about 785,999 reserve of bitcoin. This coalition of companies founded bitcointreasuries.org, a site that keeps track of companies with bitcoin reserve.

well with companies keeping large amount of bitcoin as a treasury asset for them might also be one of the factor which made bitcoin rise

The idea of keeping track of companies with bitcoin reserve is quite a good one. They are forces that could determine what happens to btc price.

One of the biggest player in this effort was made by Square, a payment company owned by Jack Dorsey, who also owns Twitter. I just hope companies won't hoard all available bitcoin that still exist in circulation.

This is a great development for companies. It will enable companies to have a good measure of treasures left for future use

I also hope their hoarding won't keep smaller investors from getting their bits. Bitcoin price did feel Square's investment weeks back. No wonder he is One of the top players in this.

Well this is cool they could even get additional profit when the price increases to a large extent and their reserve would boom unlike use of normal flat currency

Just keeping, and not using is not a cool thing, money is somrthing that should be used and not to be kept, something unsed is like something not usable. People should use their BTC and keep earning more for more use, not to more keep.

I don't keep my bitcoin just like that I either stake it , convert it to cash or use to run some fast busineses that will be in even if it is small profit margin.

well yeah but less supply = probably more demand which might increase the price even more but to be honest i think the circulating supply is enough to keep everyone happy

I don't think it either bad it is just people with more money are talking serious advantage of buying large and holding , no supply can ever be enough except we want the coin to loose it value.

unless the supply is infinite like for example ripple or some other cryptocurrency i can't remember :p

I think the increase in the numbers of companies engaging into cryptocurrency transaction started right from the moment that MicroStrategy bought their own bitcoin

I agree with you. In as much as it good to have some saving stuck away maybe for the rainy day, it will be better to reinvest to make more profit.

I expect that amount to double in the coming year. They've seen the potential of Bitcoin and those who took the decision earlier are reaping the fruits now.

The bitcoin price will definitely go straight up next year and those that intend selling them will make good of the profit anticipated

Practically it would be what in every private companies it's called: Social Capital.
Today, given the broad consensus and value that took Bitcoin, probabily they have taken the treasure also from th criptocurrencyes and not only in real money ($,€, etc.).

Hmm, bro it is now not any unique thing for big business tycoons to invest in crypto. But you told that they all hold 4% of btc as treasuries. Can you explain what is business treasurie?

pretty sure it means that they buy btc or other crypto currencies and basically just keep them as a sort of investment for a very long time without using or selling it

Seeing as Bitcoin is the next gold, it seems wise for investors especially companies with the capital to get in on accumulating and holding Bitcoin.
