Complete rookie here at working from home so forgive me if these questions seem a bit basic. I'm located in Canada and am aware that disqualifies me from some of the more prominent work at home prospects (Mturk in particular), however I've made the rounds and applied to a few of the recommend sites I've seen here and elsewhere.

I've applied to transcriptionist services such as GoTranscribe, TranscribeMe. To companies like Appen, lionsbridge, iSoftStone and have yet to hear back at all.

Does anyone have any idea on the wait time to hear back from some of these companies?

I am working on a Data Entry task at Microworkers and I searched for more sites that might offer this kind of task, and I found Appen. I just knew that Appen has acquired Figure Eight. Though I don't know how this could affect us, I hope we'll get more tasks and earn better from Appen.

Is anyone working at Appen currently? Do you get any data entry tasks to work on? How about translation jobs?

I will say not to rely on Appen too much as your main income since they do ban a lot of people.

I am currently working at appen but not a data entry jobs but a social media evaluator. Data entry job is very popular work because it's easy and this is one of the reasons of running out of jobs. The task are not enough for the workers/members

Hello! My sibling is kind of interested in being a search engine evaluator. However, what are the requirements of Appen? What if she cannot commit to the 20-40 hrs a week because of other works?

But never reached level 1
I tried so hard to reach and at the end i reached but 2/3 unsatisfied works gave downfall my level
I never tried it.as far i know they are now appen

Oh I see. How was your work with Figure Eight? Does it really take long to get qualified and accept tasks? We have two active processes but none still replied.

Now they dont have any work for level 0 and you can not work there now if you are beginner
But if you brought any account from any reputed user then you can try it

For the same job, an EC resident is paid 10/20 € per hour. Israelis can be paid up to $ 70/100 per hour. They also have a lot of junk work for $ 0.01 / task. And yes, in most projects you cannot work more than 4 hours a day. You can work only from Monday to Friday. it is definitely a good and reputed platform but it is available only in a limited number of countries that is why not all people can earn with it actually to be honest , but it surely pays and the reviews are good for it as well actually indeed .

Most of the times such websites have a minimum criteria according to which they approve workers or their tasks so if you are not able to match that most of the times they reject your tasks and that is one thing that you need to be serious about and then you should make proper decisions about working.

Sometimes it is so hard to get a jobs on Appen, i need at least 12 try before approved for an annotation jobs

yes they are pretty hard and it is much tough luck to find jobs ther , and there are many good websites that you can use to make a passive income if you wish to you can work on them to generate effort and income for you actually .

I used to earn money from Appen, but eventually, I found it difficult to complete the jobs. I applied for several jobs but received no answer. So, if you want to make it your primary source of income, you will be quite dissatisfied. It is better to have other sources of income.

yes they are a tough company to work on with that is why you should always make sure that you are able to have other sources of income for you actually that can help you earn and honestly this way you can have a much better option to succeed actually in the markets indeed to be honest .
