I am keen to invest in some wholesale business. One site I have found very interesting is Jack MA's Alibaba. I searched some furniture there and I was amazingly surprised. The whole sale price is so cheap, that we can buy 3 items with just 1 price. But the deal should be in bulk.

I wanted to order some furnitures, but when I was about to check out I saw the shipping price is too high. The price of overall products would become same as market price. So I then cancelled my order. Do anyone here have same issue with them? If anyone have any experience with their product please share here.

I haven't tried either for bulk purchasing but I can relate to the high shipping cost. It just makes things difficult to buy things online sometimes.
It may be because the shipping is international. I have checked even in other sites, fees is comparatively high, but in alibaba its much higher.

I don't really have interest in online product order anymore since I have been scammed. So, since then I don't like to order from online, though people are being says Alibaba is better.

Which site your used mate,? I too generally don't pefer to buy anything online, but since lockdown is imposed no everything can be found in local markets. And for that I have to order online.

Higher Custom fees Makes It Irrelevant To Make Purchases from this Country , Also Lower Insurance Means Higher Chances Of Damaged Products , Local Quality Products 5-10% Pricey But Effective Option

I knew that in the end you would find the shipping price to be really high. Such sites just lure people with putting the price to look cheap. When in the end, the shipping fee is high making the prices similar to the local markets.

I have been purchasing items on AliExpress for a very long time now. My target category is to buy wholesale items from the phones and accessories category and then ship it down to my country where I am going to sell it in bits. So far it is a very good business and has brought in decent profit.

alibaba & ali express are well known for scamming people. they are famous for it actually. the merchants there offer great & cheap prices but if you take a closer look at the things that are advertised, many times its the same photo, the same everything except for the name of the seller. its the same people making many different accounts. then alibaba wont return you your money or help you get it back. or they show 1 thing & then send you something else. then its the buyer who has to pay for the return shipping or returns arent allowed.

stay with reputable companies, even thou they might be more expensive initially. but your will be protected as a consumer.

Personally I do not have any experience with this site cause I have never made use of it before, like you said it's usually cheaper when you are buying in bulk, but the problem is usually the shipping fee. My sister is into dropshipping and she plans on buying some goods from. This site but she has not done that yet.it's still cheap cause when you think of buying that same quantity from within the country it might be a little more than that,

I even tried it on Alibaba but I have tried it on another website in China when I wanted to be doing dropshipping business. I later realized that the money I would need for the shipping and clearance is almost the same thing with market price despite making the items on the website so cheap.

Anytime I am using the AliExpress website it is because I want to purchase goods in bulk and in wholesale prices. This is usually much much cheaper than if you are buying it in the retail amount and then if you sell you are not going to make so many profit. This is one of the most valuable hacks that I have discovered.

It is actually a very sad thing that you were not able to ship the product that you intended by but I think that I have a solution. The price of shipping is that big because of how the logistics of the Alibaba company is in itself. You should instead try other things like using an independent delivery company especially in your locality.

I haven't tried shopping with Alibaba or AliExpress because of the reviews I get on the relative high shipping fees and also I tried ordering a product last year and the shipping fees was even more than the amount I ordered for the product. Presently, I actually use; Jumia, Jiji, and Konga to order my producs, although recently the shipping fee on Jumia remains relatively high so I just have to abscond to other alternatives.

Yes, I noticed that too but I wasn't so sure about it. I rather shop on Jumia, Jiji, eBay, Amazon or Konga. Although recently or during the reign of covid-19 pandemic, jumia shipping fee became exorbitant even more than the purchases products and sadly, the phone I ordered on Jumia didn't last me for six months despite the good reviews I saw online. I shop online presently to minimize cost because the economy isn't helping.

Exactly the same thing with Jumia. The very first time I purchased something on Jumia, the price of the product was actually commensurate with the product and I got good reviews although the product didn't last for even upto 6months but the shipping fee was actually on the minimum side, which was affordable but at the upsurge of the covid-19 pandemic, Jumia increased high shipping fee which is so exorbitant and even more than the products being purchased. Currently, I opt to purchasing my goods offline and it is even much more durable.

i think its best to stay with the major sites, like ebay & amazon. most of these other cheap other sites like to lure people in with bargain prices or cheap offers. if your not in a hurry, you can always set alerts on amazon or ebay for whatever your looking to buy. you know by shopping with amazon or ebay, your protected as a customer. more so if you pay with pay pal. if a site doesnt use pay pal, it can be really hard if not impossible to get your money back. pay pal only works with proven reputable sites. many times the old saying is true - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

I have been trying Alibaba and Aliexpress ever since my university days and i have been using it to shop and ship large product do wholesale good which will be later sold, their delivery is very fast , and their price is very cheap and affordable. You can practically anything there,

I have been using the Alibaba app store in particular together with AliExpress for some time now in order to buy phone accessories. I just recently bought an airpod according to the website it is expected to reach here on the 13 January. The website is very easy to use and it also has one of the cheapest products that you can ever be able to find with optimal quality anywhere in the world.
