hello i'm an android apps and games developper still a beginner but i have a big ambition i just want to see if we have here some developpers to exchange the knowledge or maybe work together.
if you have any question about this field dont hesitate to aske

I think there are also pages which are promoting the android apps. And thaat can be a good way to get some serious money in due time as well. I am guessing that for some people there may be chances that such apps can be good enough too. but I am considering that those who are trying to find a good set of games should be considering the price and the promotion part. if the game and apps properly promoted they can earn some decent money.

Hello, An Android Developer here !
I know this is an old thread, but still this question is not answered yet.

You are right "...developers make good money" but Not Everyone.

The key to success is Unique Idea.
The cost to build a good game starts from 500$. It may go up to 2500$ depending on the game type.

I am planning to write a post about Make Money with Android Apps in BFM soon.

i have a question regarding this. if you can earn money in making android games by selling it to playstore, how playstore earn money for the free games we download?

Actually, no one sell their apps to PlayStore.
The developer should pay a 25$ one time payment to get a developer account in Google Play. (Thats how Google makes Money)

The developer can earn money only through advertisements inside the app & In-app purchases (like game coins, premium membership etc.) for Free apps.

Paid apps works differently.
The revanue will be split in to two shares. The developer will get around 80% of the sale and the rest will be taken by Google as service charge.

The revenue sharing formular is very ok, but i wish to know is that does the app developer generate any income once any body downloads the app whether it is a paid or free app?

No, the downloads doesn't have any real value. If it's a paid app the developer gets the sales revanue. That's it.

No income for FREE app's downloads.

It's really cool that you're a beginner game developer for Android. That's an exciting and rapidly growing field, and it's great to see that you're already thinking about collaboration and knowledge-sharing

Such things are common where the effort is from the developer the money goes to him as well you can not deny it actually to be honest and you have to adjust if you promote apps of other peoples indeed actually that is the first and last thing to remember when promoting apps online
