A survey conducted by Bankrate Financial Services shows that most Americans will prefer investing in gold to Bitcoin for the next 10 years. The results of the survey showed that Americans are most willing to invest in real estate, and 28% of respondents chose this asset. Stocks, cash, certificates of deposit and gold were also more popular for investment in the next 10 years, respectively. The poll found that 61 percent of Americans do not have a good relationship with digital currencies. Interesting point that the majority of people between the ages of 25 and 37 are opposed to digital currencies.

It was interesting for me to read the conclusion that the majority of people aged 25 to 37 are against digital currencies.
I can understand real estate investing, but I don't quite understand why the coin markets, which combine great opportunities and risks for profit, are kept behind general investment alternatives. I think one reason is maybe the big price movements in the coin markets.

I would have expected that the age group that would be against Cryptocurrencies the most would be the older ones not young people who are less cautious about risks.
age group is an interesting feature to look at when evaluating this survey. Are the respondent distributed across the population age? If there are some grouping at a specific age, the results of the survey can be biased.

I guess you are right. I think we would need more information than the one provided to know the various criteria used to select these participants

This news is shocking though. nevertheless their mind can still be change towards this. I believe it's because of unreliability of bitcoin price made them choose that gold. Well, let see how it goes.

This makes sense given recent price actions we have seen... give it some time and these sentiments will shift 180 degrees once we enter a bull market again.

Most investors won't cconsider Bitcoin seriously as it has a lot of volatility when compared to these other options like real estate, stocks and the likes who have been able to make so many people millionaires and billionaires.

Well how long does stocks, gold and real estate investing has started we can't compare crypto whose just started.. it's quite interesting to know that majority of those against are young

I think many are more convienient investing in real estate busines , because of how they are comfortable they are with their investment ,and crypto currency which have more potential to fetch more profit are opposed buy them well they have their reason

It's only normal... those investment classes have existed for decades whereas bitcoin is just over one decade old.

A person investing in bitcoin today is relatively early in terms of bitcoin adoption. Bitcoin today likely can be compared to the internet in 1995.

This is almost me because this is what I tell myself all the time. It will be more profitable for me to invest in gold than others. So it isn't just the Americans here

I definitely thought it would be the older generation too. Anyone can see that digital currencies will take over in the next ten years at most. The younger generation and to gain more and should be in support of it.
