I have not heard of Amazon integrating cryptocurrency into their system but with the recent job advertisement I think they are working in that direction.

Amazon is in search for someone with experience in blockchain frameworks and, specifically, DeFi applications, including Ethereum. In addition someone passion for solving problems with Blockchain Technology.
Other basic requirements for the job are simple which includes university degree and "strong Technical acumen.

Are you eligible?.

This is great news, and they are one of the biggest ecommerce sites that are used globally and so this can really help with the development of the cryptocurrency world moving forward.

Pretty interesting news, since cryptocurrency is dominating now it's not surprising to see Amazon integration it into their system.
We can imagine how the market will pump if Amazon integrate cryptocurrencies to their system likewise Alibaba but China banay restrict Alibaba.

This would also put a lot of third party applications out of business unfortunately, as there are many applications geared towards using crypto on amazon purchases.

I will like you to shed more light on how this update will pull third party application off their business and is it not possible for them to also integrate to cryptocurrencies.

Currently there are some third party applications that are used to buy from amazon using crypto. Basically you pay the third part app and then they manually put in the order for you. If amazon accepted crypto directly however, these third part applications would not be deemed necessary.

Yeah , I understand your point now though some that has built confidence with these third party apps will still use them for a while especially if they charge little.

Good they are looking toward the direction of crypto currency ,am sure that they might have some funds in crypto currency ,but they just don't want to make it public andthey are taking a different turn on that ,hopes they get someone eligible

This may be the case, however, why use a third party application, where there is no guarantee apart from previous success, rather than use hte direct payment directly to the ecommerce site. It cuts out the middle man and will definitely be the cheaper option.

Yeah but in case of transaction glitch the third party apps may have easier access to track the problem compare you as individual using the gateway.

This could be the case. However, consider this, the third party app is a secondary business that may not be held accountable for flaws or errors. Whereas amazon is reputable and will do their best to resolve it as they have a reputation to maintain.

Don't get me wrong, I do understand the points you are putting forward and appreciate the back and forth of ideas because it is also bringing new perspective to how i am looking at it as well. So thank you for that.

I have to agree with you because Amazon is known and I am optimistic there dispute resolution support will be up in case of any financial or transaction error that may occur.

I think that with amazon accepting crypto it will also open them up to a new user base of customers which can prove to be very good for their business model as well.

I believe Amazon must have carried it survey and discovered that more of her customers are interested in paying for services via cryptocurrencies before taking the decision.

Most likely, as they are a reputable e commerce site, so they must have done a good amount of research before coming to this conclusion. It is the safer option to pay in all honesty, as you do not need to give any of your personal details for payment.
