Amazon the online shopping giant of the internet has an affiliate program that you can join. Anyone who lives in the United States can join this program. However, this is opened worldwide and will depend on where Amazon has their websites. If you live in Australia, UK, China, Hong Kong, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the United States it is easy to join the Amazon affiliate program. You just need to visit the website for your area to create an account to join. Many people who are first-time affiliates will choose Amazon because of the trust it has for people who shop online. As an affiliate marketer, it is important to find a site that people have the confidence to shop at. This makes it easier for you to start promoting the products they have to offer.

How Can You Join:
  • Like I said earlier, this will depend on where you live. You'll need to visit the website for your country and fill out the application.
  • Submit your application to the site.
  • Normally, you'll have an answer back within 24 hours.
  • They will require you to list your business name. This can be your website.
  • You'll also be required to give them your tax information. They need this information in order to pay you your commissions.
How To Promote:
  • When promoting Amazon products on your website, blog or even your social media account, you don't want to over promote.
  • One of the best ways to do this is through reviews. Write up a review about the product and add your affiliate links in the review.
  • You can do the same for your social media account. Just don't try to push the product and spam people to buy this.
  • You can't offer any type of promotions to entice a person to purchase the products you are promoting from Amazon.
What To Promote:
  • The best way to decide on what to promote is to visit the site. You should find products in your niche. This makes it easier to promote an item on your website.
  • You can use the widgets from Amazon on your website to promote your items.
  • You can promote these items in your articles using a text link to the product.
  • Reviews are one of the best ways to promote on Amazon.
How Can You Earn?
  • Each item that is sold will earn you a commission.
  • When a person clicks on your link, the link is active for 24-hours.
  • That means if a person purchases the item within the time frame you'll earn a commission. However, if they purchase the item outside the time frame, you won't earn a commission.
  • If a person purchases your item and other items that are related to your item, you can earn an advertising commission from the other items purchased.
  • The commission isn't extremely high and depending on what you promote will determine your commission rate.
  • Normally the commission rate on Amazon is 2 to 10%.

How Are You Paid?
  • You'll need at least $25 in your account to request a direct deposit to your bank account or an Amazon Gift Certificate.
  • If you want a check, then you'll need $50 in your account before the company issues a check to you.
Important:

In order to remain on the affiliate program, you must sell at least 1 item in 90 days. If you don't make any sales in 90 days, you will be terminated.

Have you ever sold for Amazon? What are your thoughts about this affiliate program?

May you share more experience in Amazon affiliate program ?
I have an account but deactivated coz more than 180 days not generate one sale.
Then I registered with the same email but different store id, then does it fine for me as you think ? thx !

And can I post my Amazon affiliate links to blogger, siterubix subdomain, coz subdomain and WordPress free subdomain etc to generate sales?

thx for any advice ! hope anyone can help as much as you can.

If you don't have a lot of traffic I don't recommend Amazon Affiliate program. For small traffic sites, look for niche affiliate programs, those programs that have cpa, cpl and cps offers high related to your niche, these are the best.

in fact, can we use Facebook and Twitter, add some content and disclosure and then post in there? (No own blog includes )
thx
Some of the time constant linking to amazon may get you banned from facebook. I have seen some people losing their affiliate account too. So make sure that you're using it properly. Also no URL shortners. Because that is known to cause more problems in such case. I have seen that in some cases you can use the blog post and promote. That should give you enough idea on how much linking is required.

thx,
so I still hardly find the answers of how to earn with Amazon affiliate program as many methods as said are allowed but still easily be disqualified.

What will be the best way to earn there ?
You simply need a .com domain name + webhosting to build a microniche site, if you can't get that you disqualify for most of the good paying affiliate programs.

in fact, how many ads network program or affiliate program can be altogether in a namecheap hosting plan?
And I find the cheapest plan has three sites at most provided, that means they are three different domains provided for free ?
And how about iPage ? their price are very cheap. Don't know if it is good or not !
If I have bought a domain but no paid hosting, can I still participating in most ads network or affiliate program for monetization without being disqualified ?

thx for any advice. As it is very difficult to find the answers from many researches and forum.

@kkckkc

First of all, Namecheap doesn't care what ad networks/affiliate programs you use, everyone monetize their website with what they think it's best, stuff that converts.

Second, host up to 3 websites means you can add 3 domains, 3 sites on that hosting plan. No, you don't get 3 domains for FREE!

Third, you can't do anything with a domain name without a webhosting.

4th you overthink monetization but you have ZERO traffic, first build the site then get the traffic check your analytics, after that try diffrente affiliate networks and ad networks to generate revenue.

thx for the advice
for the second one, I don't quite understand ,.is that namecheap only provide one free domain name and so I have to buy two more domain names so that I can use up three sites they provided ?

And the third one, how about a top domain name with free hosting plan like free WordPress etc? is that difference from free hosting +free subdomain, or paid sharing hosting plan +top domain ?
thx !

I think getting a domain and hosting sounds like a good plan. Especially if you want to have a blog with affiliate links. In such case getting hosting from any good site would be a way to go. I have made use of the hawkhost plan. You can use godaddy or others. Just use top level domain or even regional domain if you want and then get started with the revenue.

i just add funds to namecheap and would like to start the shared hosting plan.

Do you think it is good for monetization ? If I have already a free WordPress subdomain account, how can I use Namecheap with WordPress ?

thx
You need a domain .com or similar top level domain to use the Namecheap share web hosting.

You will need to export all your articles from the subdomain and create a new WordPress blog with .com and import the data.

If you are signed up on wordpress.com plan then you may not be able to use your own ads. They have their own Wordads program. Which may not be suitable for you. And for this reason I'd not choose them either. I'd rather choose to use the hosting outside that. You can initially get wordpress.com and then later move to the hosting. Right now you have namecheap accoutn so register domain and get hosting if possible.

Amazon affiliate is not a scam.it one of the affiliate program that is genuinue from many reviews online it has been proven beyond every reasonable doubt that the pay when due and all what one can do is just to signup, generate links and banners and start.marketing and making sales for commission through the links and banners.

I just signed up to the program. Very easy to get started - the hardest part will be getting the referrals in the first place lol.
I really don't understand how beer money can mark the amazon affiliate program legit.I never saw any payment proofs in this forum.
Oh, come on, it's Amazon. Do you really think Amazon, being a multi million dollar company, is going to risk their reputation by not paying affiliates?

A few years back I had an affiliate website and I have seen a lot of comments here already say, You need traffic to your website. I had plenty of traffic but most of the people were just spamming there own websites and not checking out my affiliate companies. I was paying a few dollars a month but for the results I was getting, I was better off with a free blog. I get just as much traffic there and better results

I have been an Amazon Associate for a long time. I was an Amazon Associate when Blogger (or Blogspot) had a tool that let you build related affiliate links into your content. Remember that? No? Don't remember? Yeah. That's how long I've been an Amazon Associate. I used to have to a couple of aStores. Surely you remember those! Yeah. Those were discontinued too.

I've gone through the growing pains and cha … cha … cha … changes with Amazon and can honestly say … as they have gotten older, they've gotten better! If you are a newbie to affiliate marketing start with Amazon.

I only have one complaint with Amazon. They don't use PayPal. But I can live with that!
